Some Beach Therapy & 1 Layout 3 Ways!

Welcome Everyone! Happy Tuesday! Today I'm sharing One layout done Three Different Ways. It's fun to start with a blank canvas and keep adding embellishments. We will go from Clean and Simple to what I call "I can't seem to stop".  Here is a peek at all Three Layouts together so you can see the progression.

Enjoy Your Summer by Lynn Shokoples

My son took a trip to Australia this winter, so I have tons of photos to scrapbook for him! After this layout, I think I have only 299 left to go, lol. Now on to the layouts!

For the first layout I used a few of the Journal Contents cards and an element cut out of one of the pieces of patterned paper. The element acts as the title for the layout too!

In the next phase of the layout, I added a few dies cut from the "Picture This" and "Fly Away" craft dies along with a few stickers and a element from the Layered Chipboard pack.

For the third layout I added stamping to the cloud die cuts, some banners from the Noteworthy Pack, the drink element fussy cut from the Journal Contents Cards, a button and a few other stickers. Some days it could be a quick and easy layout, and maybe on other days you want to fuss a little more. Whichever way you choose, it's creating a beautiful memory! Thanks for joining me today! Have a scrapfabulous day!

Papercrafting With Firecracker!

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing a fun layout using the new Firecracker Collection and the Pocket Squares! Such a fun layout to do!

Celebrate with Lynn Shokoples
Celebrate Layout by Lynn Shokoples for BoBunny featuring the Firecracker Collection.

I love all the holiday collections from BoBunny but the Red, White & Blues are some of my favourites! Why you ask? Well, I am one of the lucky Canadians that has a son born on the 4th of July, so I'm always looking for something to scrapbook his birthday photos with!

For this layout I used the different size Pocket Squares. I usually pick the plain backgrounds to scrap with, but wanted to challenge myself so I picked the circles. I backed all the cards with licorice cardstock to make them pop off the page. There were so many layers I lost count! Some Noteworthy pieces and Alphabet Stickers and the page was done! Fast and Fun!

Thanks so much for joining me today! Have a Scrapfabulous Day!

Mixin' It Up With Butterfly Kisses!

Hi Everyone and Welcome to Mixed Media Thursday! Today I am sharing a layout for you done with all kinds of mixed media goodies!

 Moment Layout by Lynn Shokoples
Moment Layout by Lynn Shokoples for BoBunny featuring the Butterfly Kisses Collection.

This layout is about my daughter Nicole. She had just cut her long hair and sent me this photo! I just had to use it in a layout! When she sees this I know I'm getting the "OH Mom" phone call, lol.

I love doing mixed media layouts and using all the fun products from BoBunny. To start my layout I used the Flower Power Stickable Stencil and the TuTu Glimmer Spray to add some flowers to the background. Then I started layering the pieces. I used vellum, noteworthy, and some of the cards from the Patterned Papers. Then some combo stickers and layered chipboard to finish off the design. Then it was time to do a little more mixed media! Out came the Lots of Love stickable stencil and some glitter paste. Then came the stamps and the Pink Punch Ink. I also used the Pink Punch to distress all my photos. It's the first time I've ever tried it and loved the look it gave all the elements.

Thank you so much for joining me today! I hope you all have a Scrapfabulous Day!

1 Layout 3 Ways with Take A Hike!

Good Morning! Today I am sharing a really fun project! It's a layout that shows three different ways you can scrapbook your projects. Clean and Simple? Maybe a little more? Oh my gosh I can't stop? I think I am the last one! So let's take a peek at what I created.

The Boyz of Summer by Lynn Shokoples

Here are all three layouts in the different stages. I've had this photo of my son and our grand dog Jiggy since last summer looking for the right collection. Then along came Take A Hike! Perfect for those lazy days of summer out at the lake. Now let's take a look at the different layouts a little more closely.

For the first layout I added some Noteworthy Pieces, a little Chipboard and a few strips of the 6x6 Paper Pad. I used one of the cards from the Pocket Squares to use as a title. Done?

For the next step I added more paper strips along the side, backed my photo and added a few more chipboard pieces along with some Noteworthy. There are so many fun elements in the Noteworthy and Chipboard packs, I had a hard time stopping.. now are we done?

For the finished layout I added stamps, some Graphite Pearlescent with the Under the Sea Stickable stencil and a title from the Combo Stickers. I found the Icon and Emoji Stamps perfect for filling in those little spaces and it added some fun to the layout. See.. I have a hard time stopping! I am definitely the "I don't know when to stop" scrapper, always looking for another little spot for an embellishment.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you have a Scrappy Happy Day!!!!

Misc Me & Imagine Crafts!

Good Morning Everyone! I'm here to day to share some Misc. Me pages along with some fabulous products from Imagine Crafts. So let's get started!

Home Is Where The Heart Is by Lynn Shokoples

Home Misc.Me 12x12 Layout by Lynn Shokoples for BoBunny featuring the Soiree Collection and Imagine Crafts.

For this layout I was working with the soft and beautiful Soiree Collection. The layout is all about "who I am" and "what makes me smile". I'm quite a homebody and love spending time with my family or cuddling up with a hot cup of tea and a good book. So I searched for images that represented that and started crafting. The cards were all from the 12x12 paper and for the layers on the cards, I backed some of the photos with the Lattice Frame Craft Die and some of the paper from the 6x6 paper pad.

The layered chipboard is a really fun element that brings such dimension to the pages. Along with the Noteworthy and Buttons, the embellishments brought the photos to life. To adhere the photos, I used the Tear It Tape from Imagine Crafts. It's a double sided tape, so easy to pull apart and strong, OH it's strong! An amazing product.

I was playing with the Imagine Crafts Memento Dual Markers and had a little idea! I usually use the stickable stencils with glitter paste or glimmer spray, but what about markers and stencils?? I was so happy with the results! It gave the cards a soft accent which I loved!  Here are some close ups of the cards!

Thank you so much for joining me today. Have an awesome day everyone!

Crackle Paste Album Cover!

Soiree Crackle Album Cover by Lynn Shokoples

Good Morning Everyone! Today I am so excited to share a project using the new White Crackle Paste. This is one fun mixed media product and the possibilities are endless on how you can play with it!

Soiree Mixed Media Album Cover by Lynn Shokoples for BoBunny featuring White Crackle Paste

The first step in creating this album cover was that I laid out all my embellishments first on the black Misc.Me album. Then I traced around them to know the areas I needed to crackle. The next step was preparing the surface of the album with the Crackle Paste Primer. You need a small amount and it spreads like butter! After it dried, I took my palette knife and spread on the crackle paste. I don't suggest heating with a dryer, you just have to put it on and then watch it dry... patience is not my strong suit, lol. I let it dry overnight and was so anxious to wake up to see the crackle! I then took my Emerald Ink Pad and the Rough It Up Stamp and added some color and dimension. For some added shine, a little Glimmer Spray in Tutu did the trick. All that was left was tacking down the embellishments. A fun and easy project that looks complicated!!

I really loved how the black of the album snuck through the crackle. You are really going to have fun with this product! I can't wait to crackle something else!

Thanks so much for joining me today! Hope to see you on our Facebook page!

Believe Misc Me 8x9 Binder

Good Morning! How's everyone's Monday going? I'm having an awesome day because today I get to share the new Believe Collection with you along with the new Amen Stamp set.

Be The Light 8x9 Misc.Me by Lynn Shokoples

The first thing I did was get out all the elements and my Misc.Me binder and decorate the cover. The saying was in the Noteworthy package along with the flowers, and the little flowers came from the Layered Chipboard pack. It didn't take long for this fun bright album to get done.

Now for all the pages! I love the 8x9 pages where the pocket squares fit perfectly into the sleeves. It's a lot of fun choosing which cards to use, when you want to use them all!!!! Then there are the Amen Stamps. Oh my word I am in love with those. I stamped every card, lol. I just can't get enough of this collection.

The Amen Stamp went along so nicely with all the cards. There is always room for a little stamping I say! Some I left with the black ink and some I traced around the word for some added pop.

Stamping is a great way to jazz up the little pocket cards.

Altered Toy Box!

Good Morning!!  Have you seen the new Toy Box Collection?? What an awesome collection full of fun storybook characters, crayons, numbers and all things fun! I know I had a lot of fun playing with this cute and colorful collection.

For my project I altered a box making it into a toy box. I covered the sides and insides of the box with the patterned paper from the collection. On the cover I used the pieces from the Noteworthy package and folded the pieces up so they popped out of the box. I ran a strip from the new foil vellum sheet across them to keep them in place.

For the inside cover I took one of the pieces from the Foil Vellum Sheet and adhered it under the frame piece from the Noteworthy package. On the top is one of the pieces from the Layered Chipboard Pack, because everything should have a little sparkle right? The Foil Vellum is so great for overlays or for added elements.

December Blog Sketch Challenge

Good Morning! It's Blog Sketch Challenge time! I had this photo of my daughter and her friend from a birthday trip they took to Cabo, and was so excited to use it. Doesn't the December sketch look like fun? So many layers and places for embellishments!

Love You A Bunch by Lynn Shokoples

Love You A Bunch December Sketch Challenge layout by Lynn Shokoples for BoBunny featuring the Provence Collection and Celebrate Laser Cut Chipboard

I chose to use the Provence Collection and a Happy Birthday piece from the Celebrate Laser Cut Chipboard Pack. Chipboard is so fun to play with because there is so many things you can do with it. Below I've shared a few photos of how I altered the Chipboard.

The first thing I did was take some Butterscotch Pearlescent and dabbed it onto the chipboard.

The second step was to add some blue. So out came the Frost Glitter Paste! Don't you just love glitter?

Well, if we are going for glimmer, I just couldn't resist a spray or two of the Frost Glimmer Spray.

I just had to add a little Copper Glitter Paste to add some dimension!

Is there ever enough glimmer and glitter? How about just a dab of the Copper Glitter Paste on the small doilies! Then it was time to put the layout together. For the layout I used one sheet of the 12x12 patterned paper, and the rest of the strips came from the 6x6 paper pad. Finishing off with some buttons and Noteworthy, the sketch was done! I can't wait to see what everyone does with the sketch! Have a wonderful day and thanks for joining me today.
