Flipping For Flip Flops With Beach Therapy!

Happy Sunday to you! I have a couple of whimsical and happy projects to share with you featuring the Beach Therapy collection paired with some of the beautiful BoBunny Dies.

I thought it would be fun to create an invitation using a dollar store flip flop as the foundation. To create my base layer, first I took off the top part of the plastic by pushing gently through the holes.

I then traced around the flip flop in pencil on my paper, and trimmed about a quarter inch inside of the line. A bit of ink helped finish the edges. I then tacked it down with a bit of dry adhesive and marked the holes on the back. I then punched the holes out.

Because the flip flop is dimensional, I thought it might be easier to create a bunch of these using our Nested Terrific Tag dies, stamp the invitation information on them, then attach. Once I had the tag cut and stamping completed, I aligned it on top of the shoe at an angle and marked the holes for the tag as well.

After doing this, I would suggest you perhaps thread through one hole and not two. I trimmed the plastic really well to thread it back through without ripping the paper.

For this gift bag, I used a foundation bag sized 8" x 10.25". I used an Elegant Border die and trimmed to anchor the bottom across the bag. Next, I cut a Picture This die and layered it with a Noteworthy Sentiment, Tab and Chipboard surfboards. 

A Flutter butterfly was die cut and accents the surfboards. The final touch was to add the Bike Ride cut from the Adventure patterned paper and inked to coordinate. A button and a few Dot Jewels were the perfect finishing touches.

Some Beach Therapy & 1 Layout 3 Ways!

Welcome Everyone! Happy Tuesday! Today I'm sharing One layout done Three Different Ways. It's fun to start with a blank canvas and keep adding embellishments. We will go from Clean and Simple to what I call "I can't seem to stop".  Here is a peek at all Three Layouts together so you can see the progression.

My son took a trip to Australia this winter, so I have tons of photos to scrapbook for him! After this layout, I think I have only 299 left to go, lol. Now on to the layouts!

For the first layout I used a few of the Journal Contents cards and an element cut out of one of the pieces of patterned paper. The element acts as the title for the layout too!

In the next phase of the layout, I added a few dies cut from the "Picture This" and "Fly Away" craft dies along with a few stickers and a element from the Layered Chipboard pack.

For the third layout I added stamping to the cloud die cuts, some banners from the Noteworthy Pack, the drink element fussy cut from the Journal Contents Cards, a button and a few other stickers. Some days it could be a quick and easy layout, and maybe on other days you want to fuss a little more. Whichever way you choose, it's creating a beautiful memory! Thanks for joining me today! Some Beach Therapy With Misc Me!

Hello BoBunny fans! It's Irene here and this time, I'm going to share with you all some summer inspired Misc Me pages featuring the fun "Beach Therapy" collection! But first, let me show you the binder which I've altered to keep those misc me pages.

Besides using the Beach Therapy collection, to decorate this binder, I've used the 3 x 4 Ornate Frame Dies and Picture This Dies. For some textures, I've also used the crackle paste primer and the black crackle paste to create some textures for the background.

Now, after looking at the binder, let's move on to the pages in it.

This summer inspired collection is perfect for our summer vacation pictures taken in Bangkok. Love the colors and the fun images in this collection!

To decorate some of the pockets, I've also used the Love Squared Dies and some clear stickers.

I've kept the design of each pocket very simple by just drawing some frames on them using black and white pens.

Sunny Layout With Beach Therapy!

I made a sky above the picture. The sun is made with Gold Pearlescents and a Stickable Stencil. Then I highlighted it with an orange Memento marker from Imagine Crafts.

I just love this parrot! I fitted perfectly along side the picture.

 I wrote my journaling on a tag and stuck it underneath the picture. See below how I made the tag!

Foil Rubons With Mixed Media!

Hello everyone,

It's Solange Marques and today I'll share a mixed media layout using Foil Rubons.

I love to work with beach photos and I love to add a lot of mediums on my projects. For this mixed media layout, I used the new BoBunny mediums , Beach Therapy collection and Foil Transfers.

Foil rubons enhance  any project and they are wonderful and easy to apply.

Here's some close ups of the beautiful rubons.

I used BoBunny crackle paste (I am in love with it) to get more texture on my project.I also added shells and fishing net.

Misc Me Goes To The Beach!

Hello there BoBunny fans, Bernii Miller here with you this Easter Monday to share with you a Misc Me layout that I created with the brand new Beach Therapy collection.

Even though my photos for the week are not " beachy " in theme I was still able to scrap my everyday week with this collection. I also pulled out the older Alpha stickers which are just the perfect size to add to the journalling cards. Here is a close up of both sides of the layout.

Mixed Media Layout With Beach Therapy!

Hi there BoBunny Fans :)

Its summer in the southern hemisphere which makes it the perfect time to be scrapping those beach photos :)  and I have a layout to share with you today using one of the new die sets, - Picture this, -  and the most perfect summer paper collection Beach Therapy!

This was this little dudes first time at the beach and he wasn't quite sure about all those waves! Which makes it the perfect photo to scrap - love how scrapping provides wonderful memories :)

I have torn, distressed and curled my papers to try and reflect the waves on the photo - the papers I've chosen also reflect the colours from the photo, and blue double dot in the background provides a great contrast.

A little mixed media in the background is done with texture paste. To add colour I have lightened the Glimmer Spray with gesso to get the colour I wanted, and then I painted on glitter paste with a dry brush.  A little random stamping rounded it off :)

My clusters are created with some of the Noteworthy pieces, the new Picture This die and some shells we had collected from the beach.

Marvelous Mixed Media Beach Therapy Layout!

I'm back again to share with a layout I created with the Beach Therapy Collection. I found this picture of me in Ibiza in 1979 when I was 15, I used the Vellum Paper from the collection to create the layers on my page.

I cut the Vellum paper strips apart and layered them down the side of my photograph along with the gorgeous parrot die cut that comes in the Noteworthy pack, he makes a great feature piece and I added a little Gold Glitter Paste to the flowers on him for a little sparkle.

I added more flowers from the Noteworthy pack, also the cute flip flops from the Layered Stickers Pack which is already pre-glittered for you. I used some clusters of brads over my title piece for some splashes of colour.

I used various mediums on my page to create a watery splashy background. I took the larger circles stencil from the Party Time set and gently sponged some ink onto the Adventure sheet, for an extra bubbly look I used some Sugar Pearlescents and dotted them around randomly. I used another stencil, this time from the Kaleidoscope set, along with Gold and Sugar Glitter pastes that I mixed together to get a "sandy" look. Finally I splashed some gesso and Glimmer Sprays randomly around the page.

Summer Fun With Misc Me!

Hi!

It's Romy here today and I would like to show you a few pages I made for my Misc Me album. As you may have read earlier on, I use the Misc Me products to create a 'note to self' book full of wonderful quotes and beautiful memories that I have.

Last month I made four pages about my new year's resolutions. This month I decided to bring some sunshine to the cold month of February, because I'm really looking forward to summer. I used the wonderful Beach Therapy collection mixed up with some bits and pieces from the Calendar Girl Misc Me contents. 

As you can see, I decorated my page with beautiful chipboard pieces and Noteworthy die-cuts from the Beach Therapy collection. I also further adorned my pages with the Summer Fun clear stickers. I especially enjoyed adding these stickers to my photos, because they make such a sweet detail. 

I journaled about how much I love summer and how much I am looking forward to enjoying the sunshine and going to the beach again. The tropical colours and patterns of the Beach Therapy collection definitely made me look forward to summer even more. I cannot wait to start scrapping a few beach photos that I have with this collection.

I also filled the pockets with some of the Beach Paradise Misc Me Pocket Squares. I love these new covers that are just the right size for the smallest journaling cards from the Misc Me packages.
