Glitter Paste Cards with Emmy

Hello BoBunny fans!

Emmy here today with brand new cards to share with you!

When I saw BoBunny's Early Bird collection the first thought that crossed my mind was "Tea Party, Birthday party or just PARTY". So, I decided to create cards that can be used as invitations, as any occasion cards or just for decoration.

For my card bases I used plane white cardstock. I cut off a 14 x 28 cm stripe and a 15 x 21 cm stripe, folded them in half to create the blank cards.

For the colourful layers I used various pattern papers from the Early bird collection. Before adhering the layers together, I inked and distressed their edges.

For the sentiments, I fussy cut different embellishments from pattern paper and I used pre-cut ones from the Noteworthy pack.

To finish off my design I added die cut paper doilies, glitter paste and rhinestones.

Until next time!

Big Little Friends Layout with Angela

Hi everyone!

It's Angela here with you today and I have another layout but this time with summer theme.
I love the geometric pattern of the Early Bird Fanciful paper an it immediately inspired me this fussy cut page

Early_Bird_Collection_Angela_Jun18_01.jpgTo start my layout I first cut a window in the center of the paper using a craft knife, so that it fitted the dimension of my photo. Then, I fussy cut with a pair of scissors the outline, following the shape of the hexagons and keeping an irregular look.
I also had the idea of cutting a few inner hexagons and creating tiny shakers with gold sequines here and there.

For the title I used a glitter rose gold foam alphabet by American Crafts, called Escape To Paradise, which adds lots of sparkling to the page.

I mounted the layout on a white Bazzil, using foam adhesive and then on another paper called Time Flies, always from Early Bird collection.

Just a few other embellishments like butterflies and acqua jewels and lots of gold and blue splatters and the page is finished.

I hope you like it and I hope to have inspired you somehow. Thanks for stopping by, see you soon.

Love,
Angela

Time for Tea Canvas with Denise

Hello BoBunny Fans!

It's Denise here today to share a mixed media canvas with you using the cute and gorgeous Early Bird collection.

Early Bird_Time for Tea Canvas_Denise_11 Jun_01

I loved the idea of making a kitchen canvas, based on one of the things I really love and that is a cup of tea! So the "Time for Tea" canvas came to life.

I did a white washed effect on the background of the canvas and then added crackled stenciling, some texture, more paint and some stamping.

I added some extra wording too, which tied in nicely with the theme of Time for Tea.

I added some die-cut leaves around the cups and teapot, to carry through the styling and also added some pearlescent and jewels to the centres of the cups and teapot.

Lastly, here is a close-up of the crackled stenciling and the stamping around the edge of the canvas.

So "Time for Tea" anyone? I would love to share a cuppa and some creativity with you!
Have a fabulous day!

Beautiful Early Bird Journey Layout with Emmy

Hello BoBunny fans!

Emmy here today with my first post featuring the brand new Early Bird collection from BoBunny. For this post I've created a 12x12 one-photo layout, featuring also glitter paste and stickable stencils.

"BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY"
To create the background for my page I arranged stripes from patterned paper from the Early Bird collection on top of Double Dot Damask Cardstock French Vanilla. Before adhering the layers together, I distressed the edges of the pattern paper using a paper distresser.

To create the dimensional glittery layer, I used glitter paste and a stickable stencil.

To decorate my page I used various paper embellishments matching the collection...

... and paper blooms.

As a final touch I added rhinestones and swirls.

Until next time!

Altered Box using Early Bird with Marilyn

Hello BoBunny fans! It's Marilyn here, I want to share with you an altered box that I created with the Early Bird collection. My daughter Paola loves tea and I decorated this box to keep her tea bags.
I started measuring all the sides of a cardboard box that I bought at the local craft store. I cut pieces of paper following the measures and covered the box. I chose the yellows, blues and coral paper colors from the collection.

I gave the textures with the Lace stencil and modeling paste and applied crackle paste in the corners of the box's lid. I cut out different images from the papers to make the composition.

It's easier to work with the stickables stencil because they adhere to the paper while you're applying the paste and textures.
Here is one side of the box. As you can see I give details to each inch around the lid.  I painted with white paint the Foliage Laser Cut Chipboard that adhered on the top.  I decorated with the die cuts, layered chipboards, stickers and images from the papers.
This is how it looks from the other side. I added foam dots behind the roses and butterflies to give dimension .

I covered the interior with the same papers. I removed the lid and the tea bags fit perfect inside the box. I hope it inspires you to alter any box that you already have. Thanks for stopping by...until next time! xx

Marilyn

Sometimes, simple is really pretty. I just used various noteworthy bits and layered these together and then added a few, fussy cut bits.

I then added some pearlescent to the flower centers and the flower bud ends.

For the second card, I used World Traveler...Live Life to the Fullest.

World Traveller_Live Life to the Full Card_Denise_20 May_04

I layered die-cuts and pieces to create this card, one meant to inspire.

I used alphabet stickers for the greeting message.
