Dreamy Juliet!

Oh wow I just can't get enough of the "Juliet"collection thank you so much BoBunny for making such a great line to work with!

Always dream layout by Amy Voorthuis

When My brother send me this picture of his beautiful Daughter I knew exactly that I was going to use the "Juliet" collection. Because of the pinks & reds.

This picture was taken at a photo shoot for a clothing line of a huge Dutch company. They were the first company that mixed up red & pink in a piece of clothing which was a taboo when I was growing up in the eighties!

At the moment I am totally hooked on those buckles I got in dollar store they look amazing on any project. I use a couple of stamps on this layout & also the pretty stickable stencils. The new BoBunny Dies add a beautiful touch. You can see I tucked them in here and there.

The butterfly stamps I stamped on the "Juliet"Amore sheet and then cut it out of the papers and on their body's I used the pretty jewels BoBunny offers.

I hope you liked my layout and I want to thank you for your visit today. If you can get a hold of this beautiful line you must it's amazing! I can't wait to see what you create with it.

Stamping Memories

Hi BoBunny Fans, Today I will show you how to use your wonderful BoBunny clear Gateway stamps and some more amazing stamps!

The picture I used is one of my mom & I when was about two years old. I really treasure these pictures because I know many people who only have just one picture with their mom I think that's really sad. Luckily my mom loved taking pictures & let pictures taken with the whole family.

My Beloved Memories Layout - Amy Voorthuis

When I got my design team box I was so excited that I started right away and look at those amazing roses in this "Juliet" collection. I cut out all the roses and placed them on both sides of my layout it's such a great effect.

For this layout I also used the brilliant laser cut butterflies they are so detailed. I treated them with some Pearlescents & glitter paste.

Underneath the sticker "My Beloved" I used the gateway stamp. Mixed Media is so easy to do with these gorgeous stamps and don't let it get you down when the stamp isn't perfect.

Beautiful Altered Books!

Hello BoBunny fans, it's Amy here on Off the Page Wednesday!

Beautiful Family Memories Altered Books by Amy Voorthuis

This time I altered some old books with the amazing Heritage collection. I went to a secondhand shop real close to my house and I saw some amazing books that I had to have.

I was wanting to make this for a very long time but I could not find the right collection for this.

First I used a couple of sheets from the collection and put those on the cover of the books. Later I took my favorite washi tape out and used them to cover the back of the books which is super easy.

On the lower book I used the pretty piano sheet sadly I stuck everything on top of that....later I wondered why didn't I use it for the top one, but then it was to late.

I had such fun making this off the page project.

If you noticed I used a couple of different alphabets, they are so much fun on every kind of project you make because you have bold letters, small letters in all kind of sizes.

The BoBunny Lace are so adorable and if you can get your hands on them I advise you to buy them because they look great on everything. For my books I used them to keep the books closed.

Here you see the Pocket Squares on my top book underneath it you see the stickable stencils clock used with the licorice pearlescents.

I hope I inspired you to make a wonderful new OTP project to display in your wonderful homes.
This project I will give to my mom who loves reading books do you think she will like it?

Lovely Laser Chipboard Tutorial!

Priceless Love card by Amy Voorthuis

Hello BoBunny fans! It's Amy here with you today to share two cards using the pretty "Heritage" collection. I must say that this is one my favorite collections BoBunny ever made since I am totally into vintage at the moment.

On this card I used the new laser chipboard clock which is absolutely adorable.

Here is a little tutorial on how to treat the laser cut chipboard pieces you have.

Here is the raw piece first you treat it with a layer of gesso {any gesso will do}.

I used chocolate pearlescents for my next layer just use your finger to apply. Now it looks all shimmery your next layer will be the pretty gold glimmer spray.

Then you will need your heat tool to dry so you can apply your last layer "gold glitter paste" and now it's all finished and looking gorgeous.

I stamped the butterflies on the register sheet and then cut it out so I could later on apply it on my card. On the base of my card I used the heart stencil and gold pearlescents to make those cute little hearts.

Heritage Layout on Paper Crafting Saturday!

When I first saw the new BoBunny craft dies I instantly fell in love! I couldn't wait to use them!

Timeless Wisdom by Amy Voorthuis

If you can buy them you really have to they are awesome to work with.

Also a new love of mine is the pretty "Heritage"collection I see myself more more going to the Vintage side instead of Shabby Chic and this collection is perfect for it.

On this layout I used the pretty 4x4 portrait frame die. I cut it out of a 6x6 paper pad sheet and tucked it behind the picture.

The picture I used is one of my step-dad's. When I saw this picture on my step-dad's wall, I had to have it. I had it for a while now because I couldn't find the perfect collection for it but now I have with the Heritage collection!

I am sure if you buy this collection you definitely fall in love with the rich colors and beautiful prints. I hope you enjoyed looking at my layout! Have a creative day!

A Little Dutch Inspiration!

Hi everyone, it's Amy here with you today, to share my pinterest inspired off the page project.
I love surfing around the net especially on pinterest you get so many ideas just looking around.
As most of you know I live in The Netherlands that's why I wanted to make something Dutch.
So I came up with a "Clog" what's more Dutch then that right? This picture inspired me to make my OTP.

Wooden Clog by Amy Voorthuis

For this clog I used the pretty Rose Cafe collection. I think the person that created that collection must have Dutch roots, as I said before I love the blues in that collection it looks like Delft's Blue.

I have a little tutorial on how I made this.

The original look of the clog.

All gessoed, abraded and gessoed again to give the surface a better attachment for my next layer of paper pieces.

I used some glue & seal matte finished to attach the pieces of paper and later on sprayed it with some golden glimmer mist and stamped it with the it is written stamp.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope I inspired you to make something pretty using your country as inspiration!

Cards, Cards, Beautiful Cards!

We are teaming up with Leaky Shed Studio's this month as most of you know I love to work with chipboard so this was heaven for me. For both my cards I was inspired by cards on pinterest.

Have a very merry Christmas by Amy

I really wanted to make some kind of pocket card using BoBunny packaging. The tag below is made out of a brads packaging really fun and super easy.

You know I love to stitch I always do that on my sewing machine. A tip: only sew trough one layer of paper otherwise you sewing machine will die on you.
The Leaky Shed Studio chipboard was treated with embossing powder and ink.

Still in love with the gorgeous BoBunny flowers don't you just love the dimension they have.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Caroling, Flurry, Glad Tidings/Christmas Collage

Warmest Wishes by Amy

For my second card I wanted to use the gorgeous "Altitude"collection I have to say I think this is by far the prettiest collection made by BoBunny ever. As you see I love different shapes of cards and purple & blue are my favorite colors to scrap.

Don't you just love the snowflakes by Leaky Shed Studios? I have to say this was made in 15 minutes. Also on this card I used white embossing powder and later treated it with the silver glimmer paste to make it sparkle.

I hope I inspired you to make some pretty cards.

Sisters Scrapbook Page by Amy Voorthuis for BoBunny featuring Madeleine and the BoBunny November Sketch

I was very pleased when I saw that my assignment for the month November was the Sketch Challenge I really enjoy working with sketches. I knew right away which photo's I was going to use, if you look closely you see that the girl in the picture in the middle is another girl; her name is Mijntje {she is my oldest niece from my husbands sister} the girl on pictures on the left & right is Roos, Mijntjes younger sister.
Both girls have almost an identical smile don't you think so?

Since this is stamp week I used a whole bunch of stamps. At first I was scared of stamping but now I really love it. Maybe you see I used some older stamps too? I will tell you which on the supply list. Another thing I love is layering & sewing and I did a lot of that too on this layout.

I used the licorice ink pad to stamp. It's actually a really dark ink pad, so to soften it up I used some gesso & the sugar glimmer spray.
I wanted the journaling to be the focal point on my layout it says:

Lieve Mijntje en Roos toen jullie nog heel klein waren.
Leken jullie ontzettend veel op elkaar zelfs jullie lieve lach was bijna identiek.
