Felicity "Sunday Funday" Plaque

Sunday Funday Plaque featuring Felicity and Pentart Chalk Paint designed by Rhonda Van Ginkel

Sunday greetings to you, it's Rhonda here to share my project with you. I am using the pretty Felicity collection and pairing it up with Pentart Chalk Paint.

To begin, I base coated my wooden plaque with the Dekor Paint Soft in Cream-White. Next, I mixed the Green Chalkboard Paint with the Dekor Paint Soft in Cream-White.

Initially I intended on doing a dry brush technique for shabby chic coverage, but instead opted for 2 coats and then sanded the outer edges and a few random places to distress slightly. Once sanded, the texture is very smooth.

After the initial paint and sanding, I used several stencils from the Brocade Stickable Stencils using Pearlescents and Pentart Structure Paste. Once they dried, I did a variety of stamping and Glimmer Spray splatters.

The inspirational quote from the collection that I feature here is found in the Combo Stickers. It's layered with several pieces of floral Noteworthy elements as well. The heart trim layered beneath the tag is also from the Combo Stickers.

To create my collage of layers, I cut several clocks from the Serendipity paper, then I found my sentiment block in the Parasol paper and added a border of Felicity Foil Vellum behind it. Then I used a piece of cutwork from Noteworthy which I cut apart and layered behind. It coordinated so perfectly with the sentiment block.

I used a good variety of Glimmer Sprays as well as a bit of stamping to add more interest. I also used the Chameleon Wax Paste in Blue that adds just a hint of an iridescent shimmer to the scroll cutwork and outer border of the project. I also used a bit of the Pentart Patina Liquid to add a few additional splatters.

Some of the Noteworthy elements are embellished with Double Dot Jewels in Aqua.

The Iron Works Wood Shape was painted using the Pentart Dekor Paint Soft in Cream-White. I really loved working with the Pentart products, they allowed me to customize the color to perfectly coordinate to the Felicity Collection.

Winter Wishes-card duo with golden accents

Hello BoBunny Friends, It's Ayumi here
and today I would like to share the very cute and beautiful "Winter Wishes"
collection with you. I made these two cards.

Snow Cards by Ayumi Iwashita

As a coloring material this time, I used Dekor Paint Soft and Contour Liners from PENTART products.

I will briefly introduce how to make it.

Use a stencil on the pattern paper and color it with Soft Dekor Paint.

In the crystal part of the snow I added color with Contour Liners (Gold).

Gold is sparkling and it is very beautiful. Since the tip is sharp, you can draw it finely.

Make a circle shaped shaker box. Pop-up form, bellows-folded paper and sequins, Jewels to put in the box.

Prepare a clear sheet cut into a circle shape.

I assembled a shaker box and drew Contour Liners (Gold).

Then cut out the parts from Winter Wishes Foil Vellum Paper and finish with the card.

Thanks for your attention! Have a nice day!

Just like a snowflake!

Hi Everyone!  I have some gorgeous paint effects courtesy of the Pentart Dekor Paints and beautiful papers from the Winter Wishes collection.

"Just like a Snowflake You are Unique and One of a Kind", - Katherine

There are lots of layers on this project, starting on the frame so I will talk you through what I did.

This is the frame I used, an old one that had a few knocks and scrapes.  I used the Pentart Primer Paste in order to nicely prime the surface and also to cover up some of those dents.  I used this rather than just the normal Dekor Paint Primer for the base coat as this has a bit more body to cover up some of those knocks.

These Pentart Dekor Paints have a beautiful, chalky feel to them,  I started by covering the primed frame with the darkest colour - Soft Gray.  The coverage is very good on these, and they don't take too long to dry.  After the Soft Gray, I then added a layer of Victorian Pink and finally some Apricot to create a non-uniform look.

Once I had my layers of paint, I used some fine sand paper to rub through the layers, so you can see patches of the gray and pink, I rubbed a little hard in a few areas and ended up with some of the wood showing, and I really liked the look.

After the sanding, I also added a layer of the clear transparent Wax Paste to help seal it.

In this picture I have added some of the Wax Paste in silver, I was a little heavy handed so I added some more white primer over the top to tone it down, plus a little bit of Sugar Glimmer Mist.  I also then went back to add a few extra smudges of some pink and gray paints.

In the middle, I used one of the frames from the Noteworthy collection in Winter Wishes, as it has the most beautiful verse on it.  I backed it on a paper called Icicles and I used my Winter Fun stencil and the silver and sugar glitter paste to create the background.  Then, I added a few Graphite Pearlescent drops, a Christmas tree from the Noteworthy collection be-decked in tuxedo jewels.  Next, some gauze and silver thread and punched snowflakes and I was nearly there.  The final touch was a little more of that Sugar Glitter Paste to add a final touch of sparkle around the frame.

You can see the layers of paints, and a little of the glitter shimmer.

This shows some of the stenciling, using Winter Fun, that I did for the background - I started with the Sugar Glitter Paste first, and left some gaps, then went in with the Silver, giving a nice blended glittery background.

Winter Wishes Mixed Media-Seasonal Decorative Frame

Hey there Paper Peeps!  I'm having myself a good ol' time playing with the new collections from BoBunny and the fabulous mixed media supplies from Pentart.  I'm sharing a little Christmasy frame today that I created with Winter Wishes and Pentart Dekor Paint.

Winter Snow Angel Frame by Ginny Nemchak using BoBunny Winter Wishes

This dime store frame was the perfect size to display the gorgeous angel from the Noteworthy elements and cut aparts from the 12 x 12 page.

I've incorporated the layered chipboard sticker and trees trimmed from the sticker packaging.

The Glitter Paste added to the cut apart gives a frosty look and the 3D Powder is a lovely accent to the frame corner.

Using spacers between the layers adds a lot of depth.

I began this project by giving the frame a base coat with the Dekor Paint in white. This paint is so nice and creamy and has great coverage.

Next I used a very dry brush to add the Country Green leaving it intentionally blotchy for an aged look.

Another layer of dry brushing ..this time with the white.

After drying the layers with a heat tool I used the Silver Antique Paste to accentuate the raised areas. This prepared the frame for the finishing touch of the 3D Powder adhered with Bead Paste.

Fun With Winter Wishes!

Hi everyone, it's  Solange Marques again and today I'll share with you a party piece using Winter Wishes collection and Pentart Dekor paints.

I've made a tray for a tea  party to heat the winter:

First, I applied Dekor Paint Primer on the wood tray

Then, I've applied Grey Dekor Paint on the tray and glued a resin piece on the tray

Then, I've painted the resin piece using Grey Dekor Paint:

A tip: apply a candle on the edges of the tray and on the some places where you want to leave the gray paint showing

Then I've applied Victorian Pink Decor Paint

To obtain vintage or shabby chic styling after drying, I've polished the edges and some places to show the first layer of the paint.

To protect the surface painted, I've used Dekor Vanish Matte.

Now, I just decorate the tray with the wonderful Winter Wishes collection:

And add a splash of BoBunny white gesso

To finish it,  I've applied some jewels

BoBunny supplies:
Noteworthy: Winter Wishes
Jewels: Double Dot Tuxedo
Gesso: White
Dekor Paint: Primer, Grey, Victorian Pink, Dekor Varnish Matte
