Traveler Tags with Marilyn

Hello Bo Bunny fans!
It's Marilyn here with you today to share a couple of tags and the video tutorial that I made using the new World Traveler collection.

I love to travel so I had fun creating with this collection. I tried to highlight the vintage look of this collection using brown, copper inks. But let me start from the beginning, I cut two pieces 3 1/2" x 6 1/2" from two different ivory papers from the collection. I gave textures with the Backsplash stencil and modeling paste.

In my first tag,  I adhered some clocks and gears that I cut out  from the Bo Bunny's craft dies with a brown paper from the collection. To give dimension and interest I adhered some die cut from the Noteworthy package with adhesive foam dots.

In the second tag, I used the same elements but created a different composition.

These are three of the products that I used to create the tags. The Noteworthy package with all the fantastic die cuts pieces so easy to work with them, the brads that I added to my first tag to bring the metallic look. And for my second tag I gave a sparkle look with some jewels.

You can see here from this angle the dimension and layers that I created on the tags with the different die cuts and elements.

You want to see how I made them, don't miss my video tutorial below!

Thanks for stopping by...until next time!! xx

Life in Color and Pentart Metallic Wax Pastes with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends!
it's Irit here and today is my papercrafting inspiration day here on the fabulous BoBunny blog.

I was asked to use the Life in Color collection and to add Pentart Wax Paste. So I decided to make a fancy, multi photo layout with a lot of die cutting, fussy cutting using quite a bit of Pentart and BoBunny Mixed Media products.
The new Life in Color collection is the most versatile of all the just released BoBunny collection.
It's vintage, but yet colorful and I immediately thought that it can work with my daughters wedding photos since the colors are just right.

Love layout by Irit Shalom

The whole layout was arranged as a wall of photos and I added all possible copper mediums to give it this vintage look.

Most of the photo frames were hand cut from patterned cardstock and some chipboard frames were between the cardstock ones for the dimension.

The title was made with a chipboard green frame and a chipboard Love word and the frame was rubbed with Pentart Copper Wax Paste for a very nice metal touch.

Lots of copper transfer pieces were added on the "white spaces" of the page, mostly on the left side to tie all the bits and pieces together and add lots of visual interest.

Die cuts were made with BoBunny Royal dies and I cut each one several times so I could glue them one over another to make a thick, chipboard like, look.

The keyhole was painted with Pentart Liquid Metal Copper paint.  The upper key was rubbed with Pentart Wax Copper Paste.

So as you can see all of those die cuts are treated with different copper mixed media goodies, but the look for each is totally unique.

The crowns were covered with BoBunny Copper glitter paste.  I added little accents of copper wax paste too, to various spots to tie everything in nicely.

I added Copper Wax Paste on the key and Copper Glitter paste using a stickable stencil over the photos on the right side of the page.

Here is another look at Copper Foil Transfers over the die cuts and the cardstock.

So with this delicious Life in Color collection you can scrap all of your alloccaision photos, and even special occaision like wedding themed pics too!  You don't really need to stick with neutrals for a wedding....

Go for COLORS!

Have some fun making self made METALLIC embellishments of your own. Enjoy the process of making the page that looks like a collage of frames.

Enjoy your BoBunny products in every possible way!

Just like a snowflake!

Hi Everyone!  I have some gorgeous paint effects courtesy of the Pentart Dekor Paints and beautiful papers from the Winter Wishes collection.

"Just like a Snowflake You are Unique and One of a Kind", - Katherine

There are lots of layers on this project, starting on the frame so I will talk you through what I did.

This is the frame I used, an old one that had a few knocks and scrapes.  I used the Pentart Primer Paste in order to nicely prime the surface and also to cover up some of those dents.  I used this rather than just the normal Dekor Paint Primer for the base coat as this has a bit more body to cover up some of those knocks.

These Pentart Dekor Paints have a beautiful, chalky feel to them,  I started by covering the primed frame with the darkest colour - Soft Gray.  The coverage is very good on these, and they don't take too long to dry.  After the Soft Gray, I then added a layer of Victorian Pink and finally some Apricot to create a non-uniform look.

Once I had my layers of paint, I used some fine sand paper to rub through the layers, so you can see patches of the gray and pink, I rubbed a little hard in a few areas and ended up with some of the wood showing, and I really liked the look.

After the sanding, I also added a layer of the clear transparent Wax Paste to help seal it.

In this picture I have added some of the Wax Paste in silver, I was a little heavy handed so I added some more white primer over the top to tone it down, plus a little bit of Sugar Glimmer Mist.  I also then went back to add a few extra smudges of some pink and gray paints.

In the middle, I used one of the frames from the Noteworthy collection in Winter Wishes, as it has the most beautiful verse on it.  I backed it on a paper called Icicles and I used my Winter Fun stencil and the silver and sugar glitter paste to create the background.  Then, I added a few Graphite Pearlescent drops, a Christmas tree from the Noteworthy collection be-decked in tuxedo jewels.  Next, some gauze and silver thread and punched snowflakes and I was nearly there.  The final touch was a little more of that Sugar Glitter Paste to add a final touch of sparkle around the frame.

You can see the layers of paints, and a little of the glitter shimmer.

This shows some of the stenciling, using Winter Fun, that I did for the background - I started with the Sugar Glitter Paste first, and left some gaps, then went in with the Silver, giving a nice blended glittery background.

Winter Wishes Mixed Media-Seasonal Decorative Frame

Hey there Paper Peeps!  I'm having myself a good ol' time playing with the new collections from BoBunny and the fabulous mixed media supplies from Pentart.  I'm sharing a little Christmasy frame today that I created with Winter Wishes and Pentart Dekor Paint.

Winter Snow Angel Frame by Ginny Nemchak using BoBunny Winter Wishes

This dime store frame was the perfect size to display the gorgeous angel from the Noteworthy elements and cut aparts from the 12 x 12 page.

I've incorporated the layered chipboard sticker and trees trimmed from the sticker packaging.

The Glitter Paste added to the cut apart gives a frosty look and the 3D Powder is a lovely accent to the frame corner.

Using spacers between the layers adds a lot of depth.

I began this project by giving the frame a base coat with the Dekor Paint in white. This paint is so nice and creamy and has great coverage.

Next I used a very dry brush to add the Country Green leaving it intentionally blotchy for an aged look.

Another layer of dry brushing ..this time with the white.

After drying the layers with a heat tool I used the Silver Antique Paste to accentuate the raised areas. This prepared the frame for the finishing touch of the 3D Powder adhered with Bead Paste.

A Mixed Media Delight!

Friends Mixed Media Layout

Hi everyone,

Angela here to share with you my last project featuring the brand new BoBunny Kiss The Cook collection. I absolutely love it, the colors, the patterns; it has a 50's feeling and it's so versatile too. In fact I've used it to create a mixed media layout.

The picture is of a rare girls night out. We don't meet very often, but that eve we had so much fun, laugh and good wine!

This is definitely my preferred color combo, black, white and aqua.

To bright up the spread of black gesso I added Sugar Glitter Paste in several parts of the page. It's amazing how it reflect the aqua color of the outside paper.

I play with so many elements in this layout, for example I printed with a script stamp with black ink and I repeated with white ink.

I also added a few 'strange' elements, like the black wire that I bend to create the word Friend and I staple to the pictures.

Since I run out of black flowers, I decided to cover my orange Blossom with Licorice glitter paste and I definitely love the result. Isn't it beautiful?
Hope you like this project of mine and let me know what you think about it.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!
Angela
