A Little Sweet Inspiration!

Hello BoBunny Friends, it's Elena here today and I've got to share a very fun layout with you today.

Uniquely You Scrapbook Page by Elena Olinevich using BoBunny Sweet Moments Collection

I used the picture of my daughter taken while we have been celebrating her 10th Birthday. She is a lovely girl but she hates wearing pink. This summer she confessed she likes green. Well I wanted to create something that reminds us about her sweet presents and a cake, however I wanted to smooth the pink colors in this collection - Sweet Moments, as I like all the color combo it has.

I started creating the layout, and most of the paper layers were pink, so to make them pop up I added more green accents.

I used the Selfie Dies, they are really great for that kind of shots and cut out the frames from the Double Dot card stock.

This die includes some frames, as well as some arrows. However I placed them over and there nearer my photo.

I also used some negative dies left after the previous project I made using this collection.

The colors are not so bright however the patterned papers are busy, so I wanted to add some accents using the paints. I decided to play with my new favorite product - glitter paste, I am not sure it adds a lot color, however I like the glitter effect it has.

And here it is not so sweet and pinky, but it looks girlish and festive at the same time.

Sweet Moments Home Decor!

Hello Everyone!

It's Denise here today to share a wall decor piece, using the BoBunny Sweet Moments Collection.

Mixed Media Wall Decor piece by Denise van Deventer using BoBunny Sweet Moments Collection

I had a wall decor piece hanging in my sun-room but after years of hanging there, the sun had faded the picture and so I took it down.  I removed the picture and thought of re-using the metal base. So this is the base that I used for the above piece.

I wanted a quote that spoke about the "sweet life" and saw this quote on Pinterest.  I loved it and so used it for this decor piece.

I fussy cut quite a few flowers and layered them up with die-cut leaves and other bits and bobs.

So perhaps you can sweeten up your home decor with some BoBunny Sweet Moments.

Thanks for stopping by the BoBunny blog today and we hope to see you back soon!

Have a super day!

Stunning Sweet Moments Canvas!

Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here today and this is my take for BoBunny Mixed media day using the loveliest Sweet Moments collection. Mixed Media is a lot of things. These can be art pages, tags, alterations, but the most known are art canvases. So as my first Mixed Media post for BoBunny I decided to make a 10x10'' altered canvas in scrapbooking style. It's so easy when you have a lovely photo and the best ever BoBunny products! So my two adorable 3 and 5 years old grand children are the humane stars of this canvas and all BoBunny products are the real stars of this creation.

Sweet Moments Mixed Media canvas by Irit Shalom

The whole canvas was covered with BoBunny gesso and when it was dry I added texture using two BoBunny stickable stencils: Flower Power and Lace (the lace border only).
As I was short of texture paste I just made mine using BoBunny gesso with a small amount of Plaster of Paris (this you can buy for cents in each and every Home store). When the texture was dry I added a mix of BoBunny Mixed media products. The greens over the background are small portions of Mint Glimmer Spray. The pinks around are Tutu Pearlescents that I just added with my messy fingers. The golds are both Gold Glimmer spray and Gold Glitter paste. Believe me- my hands were really messy as I work with hands only while doing my Mixed Media backgrounds. Remember to let each color / medium to be totally dry before you add another color, unless you want a brown messy look.
I added a few strips of lovely patterned paper from Sweet Moments collection and I didn't even use any glue. Just add the strips over wet mediums (gesso or texture paste) and add a thin layer of gesso over the strips. The matting for the photo was made with Sweet Moments Misc Me Journal contents and this is a time to say that those journaling cards are just perfect for any project and not intended to be for Misc Me projects only!

The main embellishment cluster was made with Noteworthy pieces and then the largest Sweet Moments Layered chipboard sticker was added as the title of my art piece. The yellowish flowers are from Noteworthy pack and I just colored them with Gold and Tutu Pearlescent to change a color
and to add a bit more gold over the canvas. As the final embellishment touch I added just a small piece of Frosting Jewels. You can also see the wide areas of crackled texture on this photo and around the whole canvas. Those corners were made with BoBunny Crackle primer and Crackle White paste and covered with the same mediums as the stenciled areas and this was the later add- on.

The photo was embellished with Noteworthy tab and a few Combo stickers made the sub- title of this canvas.

And then I decided to add some die cut swirls to connect the photo with the title in a more combined way. So a couple of swirls were die cut with BoBunny Flourish die. Some Emerald rhinestones were the final touch of this piece. And as you can see I didn't stamp! And nothing happened. You can do a Mixed Media art without stamping. (This was a message for all of those who are afraid to add stamping over the background and to ruin the already finished background. So I was afraid to ruin it and decided not to use stamps at all.)

1 Layout 3 Ways with Sweet Moments!

Hello everyone! Marilyn here with you today to share three version of my layout, from the first one that is a simple clean mixed media layout to the last one that has many textures.

 "Sweet Moments"

My first version is a simple page that I added texture with white gesso and the Lots of Love stickable stencil. I mat the photo with a die cut from Sweet Moments Noteworthy. I tore and draped the Delectable paper and use the Heavenly paper as my base. I added the title "Sweet Moments" chipboard and the Bouquet Blossoms.

"Intermediate"

To create the intermediate page, I added some blush Pearlescents dots and Jewel Flourishes on the background.  I made two twine bows that I placed near the Bouquet Blossoms. I also gave a light coat of gesso to the photo mat.

"Advance"

I mixed the white gesso with water to make paint splatters on the background it gave a lot of textures. Then I added the Tuxedo Jewels (white pearls) and a piece of cheesecloth around the photo.
You can see the details here...

I hope you enjoyed the process from the simple to advanced. Thanks for stopping by ...until next time!

Sweet Moments Technique Tuesday!

Hello BoBunny Friends,It's Ayumi here and today, I would like to share the cute "Sweet Moment" collection with you.

Wonderful by Ayumi Iwashita

I will introduce the techniques that always I use when creating a 12-inch layout.

I've cut out a lot of circles and flowers from patterned paper.

I then added sparkling words using the glitter paste and stickable stencils.

Emerald glitter paste is very beautiful color.

Then I drew the Pearl using the Pearlescents. It makes a gorgeous finish!

And the most important thing is to match the pattern paper and embellishments of tone. In order to keep the color because the green flowers were darker, I added a coating of the white gesso on flowers.

Thank you for stopping by today!

A Sweet Moment's Tea Party!

Hello Everyone! I love to have tea parties, they can be elaborate to simple, For today's project I created projects for a children's tea using sweet moments collection. I created several elements for a little girls tea party - a center piece, an invitation, a name plate, a place mat & a treat bag (treat tea cup).

The tea cup treat holder, Name place holder and a teapot place mat.

Tea Party Invitation, The rose it highlighted using Tutu glitter paste. The top & bottom of the tea pot has Chocolate and Blush Pearlescents accenting the teapot lid and the base of the tea pot.

The dessert tray was created by using different size plates and empty ribbon spools. Each circle was covered with pattered paper from the Sweet Moments collection. The trim was made by using a punch and lace trim, I placed some of the chipboard die cuts to create a 3D effect, along with 3 glass bottles filled with small beads.

Sweet Moments Cards!

Hello, I have two cards to share with you today, featuring Sweet Moments Collection and Perfect Petals Dies by BoBunny.  I love the pinks, browns & greens BoBunny used to create this collection.

Sweet Moments by Kathi Mann

On the first card I used a piece of white base card stock. The first layer I used Sweet Moments Delight and distressed the edges of the paper. The second layer used Sweet Moments Allure paper. A V was cut in the paper on the upper left corner to expose the brown paper from underneath. This layer was also distressed.

Using the Love Squared Die, cut out two squares from coordinating 6x6 paper pad, and distressed the edges with pink chalk ink.

Over the squares I layered a 1/2"circle crocheted doily layering die cut flourishes & flowers using BoBunny Flourish Die & Perfect Petals Die. Each flower a brad or jewel was placed in the center, then distressing the edges with pink chalk ink. As a finishing touch, one piece of the Sweet Moments layered chipboard was added next to the flowers.

On the second card I started with a white card stock, My first layer I used the Sweet Moments Tempting paper distressing the edges then layering a coordinating paper from the 6 X 6 pad, also distressing the edges. I placed a sweet moments layered chipboard on the right side, Using the Perfect Petal dies I cut out several flowers inked the edges of the flowers with pink chalk ink then cascading the flowers around the layered chipboard.

Fine Arts Friday With Sweet Moments!

Hello everyone! It's Marilyn here with you today sharing a canvas that I created using the Sweet Moments collection, Glitter Pastes and the Mixed Media Products.

I started priming the canvas with the Crackle Primer then I painted it with pink acrylic paint.

I selected the "Chocolat" chipboard  and framed it with the large frame from the Ornate Frame Dies.

The chocolate jar and flowers are from the "Sweet Moments Noteworthy".  I cut out the white border in all the flowers.

I made layers and textures using the Lace and Flower Power Stickable stencils with paint and  glitter pastes .

The Sugar Pearlescents give the final touch in the background, the dimension effect is fantastic!

Thanks for stopping by, Until next time! :)
