Everyday Life Layouts

While scrapping, crafting, and preserving the memories of the big moments are an absolute must, have you taken time recently to just scrap something that happens in your everyday life?

This week our theme is everyday life. Share your favorite everyday life creations with us on the BoBunny Facebook page!

Scraps Of Everyday Life by Tracee Provis

As scrappers we record our lives through our pages. When I was asked to create with the theme everyday life I wanted to make something that represented the little snippets that make up my life. I always have the camera close to hand ready to capture those memories so this picture was a perfect fit for my layout.

I wanted to add some smaller pictures of the things my camera is always focused on so I printed them off and fitted them into the Kraft Wood film strip frame. I used one of the stamps from the Distressed Textures stamp set to create some pattern to my Sugar Dot background paper and I also stamped over some of the patterned paper too.

The page itself was made from mostly scraps of Bo Bunny collections. I have a special box for them that sits on my desk, I love some of the irregular shapes that these scraps create and by adding some fussy cut elements and stickers it brings the whole layout together.

En bil till (One more car) by Ulrika Wandler

My everyday life consists of driving my car to the train station in the morning going to work, and then of course home again in the evening.
When the weather is good I take my bicycle, but all winter long I drive my car!

The perfect papers and embellishments for my photo come from Our 'Lil Monster. I love the bright red color in that collection! Almost as much as I love my red car! ;-)

The bar code is from a BoBunny package and I thought it could represent the cost for buying a car... ;-)
But the car was of course more expensive than any BoBunny product...

Fur Ever Friends by Amy Voorthuis

I have to admit when I was asked to create a layout about my everyday life a lot of things popped up in my mind. But one thing the most & that's walking with our pup every night! Everyday around eight all four of us walk a hugh route in the park. Fibi enjoy's it so much because she can walk free.

This picture was taken when Kevin & Fibi where at the waterside just before she accidentally fell in :-))) and brrrr it was so cold!

The BoBunny blossoms are my favorite flowers to work with. The one with the paw print on it is partial handmade and partial BoBunny. The top layer I created myself with fabric which is my new addiction. The rest of the flowers are all BoBunny.

Kraft Gift Bags, Cards and Tags

Today we have some more fun projects created with the Kraft Gift Bags. You can use the gift bags as they are, or maybe you want to jazz them up a little with some paper and embellishments! Let's go one step further. What can you tuck inside? A tag? A card? Maybe some goodies??

Hello Gift Bag by Lisa Novogrodski

I love to come up with different ways to use products. How many ways can I use the BoBunny kraft bags? Here I created a gift bag with the plain kraft bags, then I layered two bags on the front. The first bag is adhered to the front and you are able to open it as the flap wraps around the back. You can use this for a gift card or treat. The second bag I layered over the first and left it open as a pocket on the front to slip a card or tag in.

I also used the kraft bags to create a rosette in the center of my bow as well as cutting strips of the bag itself to create my bow.

Oh and few curly cues too...

This little tag fits perfectly in the layered pocket on the front of the gift bag! A simple tag that acts as a card and can be saved by the recipient.

The tag was created by tearing off pieces of the Kraft Dot Bag and mixing it up with stamps, stickers, washi tape and ink!

Here is a close up of the back of the tag. This tag slips right in the pocket to complete your gift set.

Welcome Baby Card by Juliana Michaels

The BoBunny Kraft Bags come in a wide range of patterns, however, I thought it would be fun to pull out the Plain Kraft Bags and personalize them with some of the new BoBunny stamps. I used one Kraft bag to create an envelope and I used another one to create a gift bag. I choose to create a baby card and envelope along with coordinating gift wrap to give to my next door neighbor who is due with a baby girl in December!

The card was created using paper from the 6x6 Baby Bump Paper Pad. I created the embellishment that I used on the front of the card by layering a Noteworthy shape and the Baby sticker on black cardstock. To create added dimension, I adhered them to my card using double sided foam tape. I then added the floral shaped chipboard, jewel, twine and buttons.

The envelope is a Plain Kraft Bag, that I stamped with one of the small button stamps from the Stitches Stamp Set. I then selected a label from the Baby Bump Noteworthy and layered it with some black cardstock before I attached it to the front of the envelope.

Celebrate Life Baby Gift Wrap by Juliana Michaels

To create my baby gift wrap, I selected the large Plain Kraft Bag. I again used the tiny button stamp to add detail to the bag. Next, I selected a variety of the Baby Bump Noteworthy shapes and layered them to decorate the front of the bag. I used double sided foam tape to give some of the flowers more dimension. The "celebrate life" die cut was layered on black cardstock before I attached it to my bag with double sided foam tape. I then cut a strip from the Bundle paper and attached it to the bottom of the bag.

I also cut a strip from the Oh Baby paper and cut it into a banner shape before attaching it to the top right hand side of the bag. To complete the embellishment of my bag, I added some jewels, twine, a chipboard button and some glitter glue. This was such a fun set to create and I really love how the stamped buttons added to the whole baby theme of my gift wrap.

Some of you may have thought can I use mixed media on a Misc Me? We challenged our DT gals to create their Misc Me using mixed media!

Weeks in CapeTown by Evgenia Petzer

I can't say that I am a huge fan of mixed media, but when adding just a little bit of color and texture here and there - it can really give you a more appealing look.

I made some drops using different paints and also used star stencil with the modeling paste.

Stickers: The Avenues, Lemonade
Stamps: To the point
6X6 Paper Pad: Family is, Prairie Chic, Baby Bump, Country Garden

Love Notes by Bernii Miller

Well Valentines has been and gone for another year but do not let that stop you from scrapbooking those moments you were head over heels for that special someone in your life. That is exactly what I did here, with these 7 year old love notes that my husband wrote to me when we first starting dating and at the start of our engagement. So when BoBunny asked us to create a Misc Me inspired project using mixed media I instantly knew I wanted to create a lumpy bumpy keepsake that I would forever cherish.

The Head Over Heals collection released by BoBunny is perfect for this Misc Me album that I completed. The sentiments and images that are present in the noteworthy packs and the sticker sheets are exactly what I was after.

To start with I used a Misc Me Kraft Binder in the 8 x 9 in format and decorated the front with paper and embellishments right form the Head Over Heels collection. I then scoured through my notion cupboard and grabbed out bits of media that would suit the colour scheme. Mixed media does not necessarily mean loads of paint and stamps, it can just be the pretty little embellishments and notions you have been collecting , and always thinking to your self I will use that one day and then adding them to your scrapbooking. For me it has been my pretty spotty tulle, heart ribbon, people cut outs with glitter thrown in for good measure.

The whole concept of this album was so easy and fast to pull together, and it has to be said that it is now my favorite album I have to date.

I am just so happy that after all this time I have been able to keep all the memorabilia in one place, and know that my children will cherish this for years to come.

The different page combinations of the Misc Me collections made it really simple to slip in the post it notes, and actual letters that I have about. Then all I simply did was add empherma to the outside of most of the page protectors. I simply adhered those with either my tiny attacher ( making sure I did not go all the way through the page protector) or with e6000 glue. This is not an acid free glue, but a heavy duty glue, which I know will stand up to the test of time and the wear and tear over time.

I even managed to use up some of my crafting goodies. like this polka dot tulle that I had in my room. I love the dimension and texture it adds to my pages. I also love how it bulks up my album. I love the touchy feely stuff.

I love these BoBunny albums too as they allow me to add in extra memorabilia by simply adding a few punched holes and then adding it directly into the album , just like the card below.

Here is another example of how I added in extra elements from the noteworthy pack by simply adding some punched holes and then inserting it directly into the spine of the album . I love how this adds little extra interactive elements to the album. It also allows me to add extra journaling where it needs to be added.

Well I hope that I have inspired you to pull out your Head Over Heels collection and use some of those Misc Me goodies you may have about and create your own Love Notes album. It may not have to be notes you received from your partner , in fact it could possibly be the art work your children bring home to you, which in fact are their little love notes to you. This collection really lends it's self to both a masculine and feminine feel so scrapping for either gender will work.

Continuing with our "Pinspiration" our designers have created some fabulous cards!

Believe In Yourself Card by Agnieszka Bellaidea

If I could clone myself, one Agnieszka would spend her days just with Pinterest. I like to look at so many different boards.  The idea about making cards while inspired by photos from there was such a great idea. I liked happy romantic look and was trying to get this look by fussy cutting butterflies and also by hand stitching.

I also liked the color combo a lot and mixing Primrose with Baby Bump was my way of creating similar look.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Bliss, Garden /Primrose; Miracle, Expecting / Baby Bump

Butterfly Kisses Card by Agnieszka Bellaidea

With my second card I went for more contrast but still added blue and pink from Baby Bump and Primrose papers. I did some hand stitching, more fussy cutting and I also created several layers.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Bliss, Garden, Memories, Joy / Primrose; Expecting, Sweet Dreams / Baby Bump; Graduation / Pop Quiz

Celebrate Card by Denise van Deventer

The inspiration for this card came from the pinwheels in the board, as well as the colors of the board.

The striped paper from the Modern Miss collection was great for the pinwheel, as the stripes allowed for easier scoring.

I punched the edge of the striped paper for my pinwheel and this gave it a nice soft look.

To add some depth and texture to the card, I embossed the background with a swirly stamp and clear embossing powder and then added some colour around the image.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Fashion, Party / Modern Miss
Cardstock: Island Mist Dot
Noteworthy: Modern Miss
Brads: Modern Miss
Chipboard: 12 x 12 / Modern Miss
Stamps: Flourishes & Such; Stained Textures
Blossoms: Wildberry Daisy; Buttercup Daisy

Many Thanks card by Denise van Deventer

The inspiration from the Pinterest board came from that first image, where it has those 3 pictures so closely hung, that they look like 3 panels. So this little seed of inspiration was used for the design of the card, where I created the 3 panels. The paper was embossed and then distressed and inked.

I chose to use the colors of the board again too and so The Avenues was the perfect choice.

I distressed and inked all my papers and this really gave the soft look that I was wanting to achieve.

Patterned Paper: Antique, Home, Trellis / The Avenues

Noteworthy: The Avenues

Forever Card by Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell)

I've made this card with one of my favorite stamps from old "Little Miss" collection. I always like to mix different collections in one project, so on this card, you can find products from the four collections.

Most of the elements are adhered with a 3D-foam.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Sweet Dreams/Baby Bump, Cat Nap/Happy Tails
Washi Tape: Primrose
Stamps: Little miss

Make A Wish Card by Maria Potapovich (mellpellmell)

Here, I sought to create an "empty" and "full of air" card - I've added splashes of acrylic ink and outlined the lettering using a pink pen. Now the card is ready! Unlike the previous card, this was made with only one collection (oh... and with only ONE sheet of paper!).

I took ONE sheet of paper and cut out a background, central wish, as well as three butterflies - it's that's simple!
