Happy Easter Greetings - Handmade Cards featuring Cottontail, Double Dot Damask and BoBunny Essentials Dies with Denise
Hello BoBunny Fans!
It's Denise here today, to share some cheerful Easter greeting cards with you, using some tried and true BoBunny staple items along with the gorgeous Cottontail Collection. This set has elements for Easter and all occasion spring, with a distinct "vintage" flavor.
Here is the first of my two cards that I created for you today. In addition to Cottontail, I used Double Dot Damask and a couple of my favorite go-to dies.
I used dies and layeres lots of die-cuts on this first card to create the center and focal point. I also used BoBunny cardstock to create the little blue flowers and the fresh leaves. Here's a closer look at that center element piece, with the stamped sentiment.
For the second card, I really went to town with fussy cutting and just used beautiful, patterned papers to create it. The pretty patterns on the papers caught my eye and I just knew that I would have to use them.
I also fussy cut those small, pretty orange flowers and then used some Pearlescents for the middle of the flowers.
This card ended up with various layers, but all from patterned paper and so even though it is detailed, it is really economical, as I did not need any embellishments.
I hope this will really inspire you to make the most of your staple patterned papers too.
Thanks so much for stopping by the BoBunny blog today.
Have a fabulous day!
Denise x

Easel Fold Card Duo featuring Stay Awhile with Katherine
Hello Everyone,
Katherine here with some really easy Easel Fold cards using Stay Awhile. This sort of card is great because it folds flat which is great for posting.
My basic design is a 12" by 4" piece of double dot card stock which I fold at 6" and then 9", both of those fold are mountain folds. To make the card stand up you add an area on foam pads (in the case above the flower square) on the inside of your card, so you can tuck the front of the card behind it.
To decorate my cards I added a 5 3/4" by 3 3/4" purple panel from the paper Welcome on the base of my card and then as there is a fold in the middle of the front cover I added 2 panels to the front of my card (you can see this best in the last photo where both cards are flat). To disguise the fold I created my colourful hills and just stuck them to the bottom panel, the same with the house so that they pop-up when you fold the card.
I snipped the hills to make it look like grass and inked the edges of all the papers to add a little more definition.
Here you can see the square that the front cover tucks behind, I added some of the Double Dot Blue Hues jewels on the flowers to coordinate with the ones on the main card to tie the looks together.
The same template, but this time I cut out lots of the coffee cuts, the perfect card for a coffee lover! I stuck the coffee cups just to the bottom fold so that they pop up.
My sentiment is on foam pads which meant I could tuck all the cups behind it, and I added a few coordinating jewels for just a bit of shine.
Another coffee cup to provide the stop and hold the card up.
This should give you an idea of what the cards look like when flat, you can see the panel at the base and top on the front of the cards and how it has been disguised with the hills and coffee cups.

Down by the Sea and Pentart Crackle with Rhonda
Gift Idea: Artists Tray with Rhonda
Greetings and welcome to Sunday Funday on the blog! I have a project featuring the Down By The Sea collection and the Pentart Cracking Paint System. We recently took a vacation to Florida and spent a bit of time at the ocean. This collection was perfect for my photos!
I found this artist tray at my local craft store on clearance and thought it would be perfect to showcase this collection and my photos. This is also such a perfect gift for Mother's Day or Father's Day. I prepared the tray by painting my Cracking Paint System 1, let dry and then applied the Cracking Paint System 2 in White on top and set aside to dry and crack.
While the tray was drying, I measured the compartments and started trimming a variety of the papers, then I selected the photos that I wanted to print. I started with a 4x6 that I could cut in half for the focal center of the tray, then I printed smaller 2x3 photos to use in the opposite corners.
I cut several pretty die cut elements out from our new dies, used them in a few of the compartments. I also used bits from the fabulous Noteworthy package and of course, embellished with some Chipboard, Layered Chipboard and Double Dot Jewels.
I love how the Pentart Cracking Paint is so versatile and it took the color of the Glimmer Spray so nicely, I could control the depth of color easily.

Super Hero Misc Me!
My grandson celebrated his fifth birthday with a party which theme was Super Heroes. He was Super Man and his friends were using fantasies of several heroes, it was so funny. When I saw the Firecracker collection, I thought that was perfect for the Misc Me about her party.
On the first page of this Misc Me I used the invitation for the party:
I covered the title using blue Pearlescents:
Here he is Clark Kent, his secret identity:
And here he is doing the dramatic gesture of ripping open his shirt to reveal the familiar "S" emblem when called into action!
I mixed pearlescent with BoBunny gel and I applied it on the stencil :
I made the same on this page and I also applied pearlescent on the hearts:
