Designer's Choice-Serendipity and Pentart with Ayumi

Hello BoBunny friends!! It's Ayumi here.

Today I will introduce mixtmedia layout I made with BoBunny Serendipity collection and Pentart products.

[You're beautiful] mixtmedia layout  By Ayumi Iwashita

Photography:Studio Petit Pas

Let me show you how to make it.
First, prepare white paper which is water resistant.
I will put a glimmer mist there.
Overall spread in the mist of water.

Next, prepare the frame.

Coating the frame all over with the white gesso, and when it is dry, brush on the Glimmer Spray.

I painted the Tutu and Mint Glimmer Spray colors with the brush in the same way.

When the mist dries, I spread a bit of these three Pearlescents in strategic spots for extra shine.

Next, I will decorate using pictures and pattern paper.

Then I paint with different colors of Pentart Delicate Acrylic Paint.

Add 3D Balls and 3D Powder to give a few small patches of texture.

Then I sprayed Mint Glimmer Spray on the 3D textures.

Finally it is completed with well placed touches of stamping!

Thanks for joining me today.

Enjoy your scrappy day!

Life's a Beach-Altered Mixed Media Canvas with Ulrika

Life's A Beach by Ulrika Wandler

Hi, Ulrika here to show you a canvas I made with a bunch of fantastic products from BoBunny and Pentart!

Life'S A Beach Mixed Media Canvas by Ulrika Wandler using BoBunny Down By The Sea

I started with priming my canvas with gesso. After that I applied Bead Paste to make the background.

I also used a stencil together with gesso to make the circles (or bubbles?!).

After that I used Gel Paste to glue some 3D Powder and 3D Balls to start making the sand on the bottom of the ocean. I also glued on some sisal threads and shells. The Gold Confetti Paste is perfect to make the "sand" and the shells glitter.

Altered Shadow Box Frame with Down by the Sea and Irit

Hello, dear crafty friends and welcome to my BoBunny Fine Arts post this week.

Today I am going to share an alteration of a cheap plastic $1 shadow box frame made with the newly released Down by the Sea collection, some of other new BoBunny released tools and products  and a lot of old and new Pentart mediums and paints.

Take Me to the Ocean Altered Shadow Box by Irit Shalom

It's not a tutorial post, but still I want to share the ways this plastic box was altered.

So as it's a plastic surface I first covered it inside and out with Pentart White acrylic primer.

When it was dry I painted it with all possible blue and greenish acrylic paints from Pentart that I have in my stash.  I included the full supply list is at the end of this post for you to see.

Then I added a layer of Pentart Classic Crackle Varnish and you can see the gorgeous result mostly inside the box as the outer frame was painted with more paints and mediums and a good portion of the of the result was obscured, but the effect is still quite strong.

Then the circles were added using Turquoise and Sea Foam Glitter pastes and the new fantastic Backsplash thick stencil.

Three different BoBunny glimmer sprays were added over the dry area and I added 3D Balls and powder on the bottom to plump up the texture and give it depth.

The inside of the box was made with four layers of torn cardstock and one single die cut from the Mandala die and then the chipboard pieces were added inside and over the frame.

Here are some close-ups to the background on the frame:

Down by the Sea, Mixed Media-One Layout Three Ways with Marilyn

Hello everyone! We all have different styles, some like simple things, others with more details or someone like me with lot of layers, paints and details.. I'm going to share with you today-one layout  in three ways with the new Down by the Sea collection and the new Spring stuff, let's take a look...

This is my final project with many layers, stamping, mixed media product but before that I explain all the creative process let's go to see how I started in the next picture, working backwards with me.

 #1 Way

I selected the Down by the Sea Seahorse as my base paper. Then I made a design with the chipboard and Noteworthy pieces, next I adhered the photo. It looks simple and clean.

 #2 Way

Then I added color around all the design with Pentart Delicate Metallic and blue creamy acrylic paints. After drying, I gave textures with the Backsplash Stencils and the new Pentart Stencil Paste in Ice Flower color. Finally, I added white and blue paint splatters.

To take it to the next level (#3) I stamped randomly with the Doodles stamp and added yellow paint splatter for extra textures.

I added some Blue Hues Jewels and a well placed touches of  3D Balls that I adhered with Pentart Express Glue.

I love the chipboard pieces, they look adorable and fun  and add just the right feel to this seaside layout scheme.

You can see here all the textures...
And here are the three ways...which one is your personal favorite?

Marilyn's layout with Make a Splash and Iron Paste

 Hello everyone!

Marilyn here with you today sharing  a mixed media layout and a video tutorial that I made with the Make a Splash collection and Pentart products. We are mixing it up a bit today and doing Mixed Media instead of One Layout Three Ways today!  Starting here!

You know that when we open an envelope with photos, it's like all the memories jump out and that was my idea when I designed this page.  I started this layout by tracing and cutting an envelope from the paper.

To create the effect of the waves crashing on the shore, I applied the Pentart Primer Paste Gesso, then I added textures with a stencil and the same Gesso.

The Make a Splash chipboard pieces add so much fun to my page.

I created additional textures with the 3D powder and balls. I applied the iron paste over the netting and the cord to create a rustic and beachy look, much like a fisherman's net

I criss-crossed the word Beach from the chipboard pieces through the cord.

Here's the video tutorial, I hope you find some inspiration! Enjoy it!
