Spectacular Kraft Bag Card!

Hi there BoBunny fans! :)

Have you used Kraft Bags before in your scrapbooking or card making?  This week we've been showing you how versatile they are and today I wanted to show you a couple of ways of incorporating them into your cards.

Envelope Card by Megan Gourlay

This first idea was pretty simple.  Split the bag down the seam and then have butterflies flying out of it! To decorate the bag, I've first randomly painted on gesso, and then applied gold Pearlescents.  Once dry, (and the beauty of Pearlescents is it dries quickly!), I've randomly stamped over my bag with a couple of my favourite stamps.

I've die cut one of the butterflies from the new Flutter die and slightly curled the wings to give it 'flight'. I've also used some of the new laser cut butterflies.

Here you can see I've lined the inside of my bag.  To decorate my laser cut butterflies, I've first applied gesso, then applied Glimmer Spray.  Once it was dry I rubbed in some more gold Pearlescents.

This time Ive taken two of the larger bags and joined them together by sliding the openings into each other.  This gave me the base of my card which became 15" long - I then folded at 5", and again at 6 & 6.25" to give me room for depth of my embellishments, when it was folded shut.

I've taken the Polaroid frame from the Noteworthy set and popped it up with foam, layering flowers and the filmstrip in behind.

Here you can see the card opened up.  The piece on the left is a pocket to slide in a gift card, vouchers or cash.  On the right is a panel for writing a wee message.

Sweet Ideas With Kraft Gift Bags!

Sweet As Can Be by Tracee Provis

Sweet as can be tracee provis bo bunny forever young 01

Hello friends! I am documenting my Granddaughters trip to Euro Disney and the Forever Young Collection has a whole host of colours and patterns that are perfect for my pictures, coupled with the Quatrefoil Kraft bags they make a great combination!

I added in a little mixed media using the BoBunny Inks, Stencils and Pearlescents.

Sweet as can be tracee provis bo bunny forever young 02

I started by using the quatrefoil design stencil from the Cascade set to replicate the pattern on my Kraft Bags. Instead of using ink or other medium I used a fine journaling pen to add the pattern to my page, I then took the polka dot stencil from the Brocade set and gently used the Pink Punch ink to create the dots. Finally I used one of the Butterflies from the Butterflies Stencil to add Graphite Pearlescents over the top (taking care not to get the paste near the edge of the wing shape, as I only required the pattern on his wings for my page).

I used the new BoBunny Foil Transfers in silver to create the "be" word in my title and they are the most gorgeous shiny silver and rub on like a dream! I cut one of the panels from a strip of film strip from the same Forever Young Collection and used it as an aperture for my title. I used the leftover piece and cut the camera and smile piece to add to my cluster.

The Kraft Bags are great for so many things and they can be incorporated into your pages quite easily, here it was a way for me to add some pockets to my page for extra photos or journaling. I took one of the large bags from the pack and cut it in half, I then traced and cut out the top on the second one to look the same as the top one, I glued the bottom and tucked a journaling card into it, the top one has some extra photos in.

I punched out some extra hearts from the Bestie sheet and after inking the edges I put them on pop dots and layered them over the paper to give some subtle dimension. I used the Licorice Ink on the edges to give it a slight grungy look, its very effective I think.

Off the Page With Chevron Kraft Bags!

Is it a purse? Is it an envelope? No, it’s a Kraft bag!! Kraft bags are versatile with so many uses! Today I wanted to show you a few things you can do with our fun Kraft Bags that are OTP! (of the page)

Chevron Kraft bags & #ForeverYoung by Pia Johnson

BoBunny Kraft bags come in several patterns and will coordinate with any of our collections! For this project I chose the Chevron Bags and the super fun #ForeverYoung collection.

The envelope below was made by opening a Kraft Bag up at the seams then scoring to fold as an envelope; the inside was lined with paper to give it a fun color pop when opened!

Having a party? Here is a fun and easy way to make a utensil holder; just add some paper to trim the top of the bag, a doily, some fun string, an embellishment and it’s ready to be filled!

Below, I made an envelope but this time it was placed on the front of a card and filled with hearts! Do you know any chevron lovers who would adore a card like this?

Here are a couple of goodie bags. They were made by splitting the bottoms of the bags open, and folding like paper sacks to help them stand up. I also decorated then with doilies, paper and string adding a great splash of color and fabulous accent.

It’s fun to think outside the box sometimes…what do the Kraft Bags inspire you to make?

Misc Me & Krazy Kraft Gift Bags

Hello everyone! Today, I'm going to share with you a fun and colorful misc me project featuring the "#ForeverYoung" collection. First up, I've altered a Misc Me Gold Kraft Binder to store these misc me pages which I'm going to show you later on.

I've used some papers and embellishment from this collection to embellish it. To add some textures and dimensions to it, I've used the Cascade stencil with some texture paste to create part of the background. Besides that, to frame part of the title, I've used the Lattice dies.

These are the Misc Me pages which I've created using "#ForeverYoung" collection. It documents the fun adventures we had while climbing a hill behind a cave. I did not do much of mixed media this time. Just some stamping and layering.

As for my assignment today, I'm asked to include a Kraft Gift bag in my project. Therefore, I've added an extra page among these pages using a kraft gift bag. I've cut off the top part of the gift bag and use it as a pocket page where I could keep more pictures and momentos from this trip.

I cut out the cork board from the pattern paper to attach in the front of the gift bag and use it as a cork board page. I've added a picture of the trip and another cut out on top of the cork board.

Sensationally Simple!

Hello, Maria here! I love patterned kraft paper. It can be used to decorate any LO or cards, whatever the density of it. Kraft is very beautiful! Always! When you have on hand some yummy plain kraft paper, and even a package made from a  plain kraft paper, then the world is your ocean! Plain Kraft paper can be used as a basis for a mini-album, for example ... But today I decided to make some fun gift bags from BoBunny's wonderful Kraft bags.

Making a nice package for a gift is easy! And even easier to make a package for a set of two gifts!
See how using simple means you can achieve great results!

Two packages of different sizes, decorated in the same style.

Look at the stages of decoration:
1. Stickable Stencils + ink
2. background stamping
3. word stamp with the "shadow" (simle way to have great result!)
4. doily
5. emallishment, made of carved stamp imprint
6. small piece of adhesive film strip

Kraft Gift Bag Layouts

Today is our last day of projects using the Kraft Gift Bags. I hope you enjoyed all the fun and fabulous projects our designers created. Today we are sharing layouts using the Kraft Bags. You can use them as a photo mat, or layer them, so many possibilities. Have you thought of some fun ways to use the Kraft Gift Bags?

Sweet Memories by Agnieszka Bellaidea

There are so many ways to use Bo Bunny gift bags but for today's project I used them as a place to hold more photos from the very same event my main photo from the page was taken. I also added more elements from our Kraft Collection, brads, chipboard and doilies.
This time I mixed elements from 4 collection but my main focus was on Somewhere in Time. This is such a special collection and I believe we all will use it in the future.
Talking about a future - are you also very excited about new products from Bo Bunny? I wonder what you like the most, I can not wait to use new stencils on my projects! How about you?

I always like to add stitching on my pages and this time I did it too matching colors with the rest of my page.
Below you can see my "pocket" holding more photos.

My Girl by Kaori Fujimoto

I used BoBunny's paper gift bag as a pocket. For closing part, I used brads and string. To open the pocket, there is a tag.

I think pink and natural beige match well. I selected Head over Heels collection as a background.
I add a little pink water paint to the paper to give a soft feeling.

42 by Denise van Deventer

This is really a day that I will not forget easily, my 42nd birthday.  Not only was it my birthday, but my brother-in-law's wedding day! So 2 celebrations in one day! I really went to town on my outfit and also had my hair done, which I simply loved.

I folded my Kraft bag in half and then stuck it down to create a matting for my photo, as well as a little pocket for my journalling! At 42, one certainly has learnt a thing or 2 about life and so this little pocket contains a few of these learned things, as well as my thoughts about being 42.

I did some mixed media effects on my background and I am always so chuffed at how thick the BoBunny papers are and how well they respond to the mixed media. I also made use of some The Avenues chipboard numbers and they match perfectly in, with the Somewhere in Time Collection!

Kraft Gift Bags, Cards and Tags

Today we have some more fun projects created with the Kraft Gift Bags. You can use the gift bags as they are, or maybe you want to jazz them up a little with some paper and embellishments! Let's go one step further. What can you tuck inside? A tag? A card? Maybe some goodies??

Hello Gift Bag by Lisa Novogrodski

I love to come up with different ways to use products. How many ways can I use the BoBunny kraft bags? Here I created a gift bag with the plain kraft bags, then I layered two bags on the front. The first bag is adhered to the front and you are able to open it as the flap wraps around the back. You can use this for a gift card or treat. The second bag I layered over the first and left it open as a pocket on the front to slip a card or tag in.

I also used the kraft bags to create a rosette in the center of my bow as well as cutting strips of the bag itself to create my bow.

Oh and few curly cues too...

This little tag fits perfectly in the layered pocket on the front of the gift bag! A simple tag that acts as a card and can be saved by the recipient.

The tag was created by tearing off pieces of the Kraft Dot Bag and mixing it up with stamps, stickers, washi tape and ink!

Here is a close up of the back of the tag. This tag slips right in the pocket to complete your gift set.

Welcome Baby Card by Juliana Michaels

The BoBunny Kraft Bags come in a wide range of patterns, however, I thought it would be fun to pull out the Plain Kraft Bags and personalize them with some of the new BoBunny stamps. I used one Kraft bag to create an envelope and I used another one to create a gift bag. I choose to create a baby card and envelope along with coordinating gift wrap to give to my next door neighbor who is due with a baby girl in December!

The card was created using paper from the 6x6 Baby Bump Paper Pad. I created the embellishment that I used on the front of the card by layering a Noteworthy shape and the Baby sticker on black cardstock. To create added dimension, I adhered them to my card using double sided foam tape. I then added the floral shaped chipboard, jewel, twine and buttons.

The envelope is a Plain Kraft Bag, that I stamped with one of the small button stamps from the Stitches Stamp Set. I then selected a label from the Baby Bump Noteworthy and layered it with some black cardstock before I attached it to the front of the envelope.

Celebrate Life Baby Gift Wrap by Juliana Michaels

To create my baby gift wrap, I selected the large Plain Kraft Bag. I again used the tiny button stamp to add detail to the bag. Next, I selected a variety of the Baby Bump Noteworthy shapes and layered them to decorate the front of the bag. I used double sided foam tape to give some of the flowers more dimension. The "celebrate life" die cut was layered on black cardstock before I attached it to my bag with double sided foam tape. I then cut a strip from the Bundle paper and attached it to the bottom of the bag.

I also cut a strip from the Oh Baby paper and cut it into a banner shape before attaching it to the top right hand side of the bag. To complete the embellishment of my bag, I added some jewels, twine, a chipboard button and some glitter glue. This was such a fun set to create and I really love how the stamped buttons added to the whole baby theme of my gift wrap.
