Designer's Choice-Life in Color with Denise

Hello Everyone!

It's Denise here today, sharing some BoBunny goodness, in the form of 2 tags, using the gorgeous Life in Color collection.

Here's the first of the two tags.

I actually used the BoBunny packaging, from chipboard from this collection, as it was just too beautiful to discard and it was wonderful to be able to recycle it. The dark blue flower is one that was made up of layers of BoBunny petals.  It came out beautifully.

Here's a closer look. I used die-cuts to add detail to this little cluster.

Let's have a look at the second tag then.

I used some BoBunny stamps and and other stuff to create the background and then added some gorgeous chippies and stickers, along with some die-cuts and small flowers.

Here's a closer look at the little cluster.

I used some Pearlescents for the flower centres and also to add some detail on the key chipboard.

I so love creating tags and I always have a number of tags on hand, to use for any occasion.
Do you love creating tags, as much as I do? It's such a great way to use up scraps and little bits and pieces.

Thanks so much for stopping by the BoBunny blog today and we hope to see you back tomorrow.

Have a fabulous day!
Denise x

Life in Color-"Documented" Greeting Cards-with Ginny

Hey there BoBunny Peeps! I was pretty happy to see Designers Choice as our theme for this week. I got out all the collections I've been wanting to play with and narrowed it down to Life in Color.  I really loved the natural images paired with the industrial paper patterns. Such a great combination!

I created greeting cards that would be great for any occasion....and for anyone I think.

This little fawn image just makes me all kinds of happy. So sweet. It was part of the cut apart sheet and had the gorgeous frame already on it!

There might be a limit to the amount of patterned paper layers you can add to a card...but I don't think I've ever reached it yet. Adding a border of chocolate brown helps to keep the patterns separate as well as spacers between the layers.

It seemed like a fine idea to give this little fawn a garden of flowers to be resting in. I've also included some vintagy trimmings and Double Dot Jewels.

OMGoodness this owl has the most beautiful eyes! We get lots of owls here as we live in the country and I love them so much!

These funky urban style papers are really cool and the warm rich colors are just perfect to match the blue frame on the cut apart.

BoBunny has such a great selection of flowers that are stylized.....they don't look like your average everyday flower..they have way more pizzaz. I added more of the Jewels to this card as well...but went for the blingy ones instead of the pearl ones in the first card.

Both of these cards measure 6 x 6 inches and the insides are finished with coordinating paper patterns.

Okay that's all for me. Wishing everyone a happy and productive day : ) G

Life in Color and Pentart Metallic Wax Pastes with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends!
it's Irit here and today is my papercrafting inspiration day here on the fabulous BoBunny blog.

I was asked to use the Life in Color collection and to add Pentart Wax Paste. So I decided to make a fancy, multi photo layout with a lot of die cutting, fussy cutting using quite a bit of Pentart and BoBunny Mixed Media products.
The new Life in Color collection is the most versatile of all the just released BoBunny collection.
It's vintage, but yet colorful and I immediately thought that it can work with my daughters wedding photos since the colors are just right.

Love layout by Irit Shalom

The whole layout was arranged as a wall of photos and I added all possible copper mediums to give it this vintage look.

Most of the photo frames were hand cut from patterned cardstock and some chipboard frames were between the cardstock ones for the dimension.

The title was made with a chipboard green frame and a chipboard Love word and the frame was rubbed with Pentart Copper Wax Paste for a very nice metal touch.

Lots of copper transfer pieces were added on the "white spaces" of the page, mostly on the left side to tie all the bits and pieces together and add lots of visual interest.

Die cuts were made with BoBunny Royal dies and I cut each one several times so I could glue them one over another to make a thick, chipboard like, look.

The keyhole was painted with Pentart Liquid Metal Copper paint.  The upper key was rubbed with Pentart Wax Copper Paste.

So as you can see all of those die cuts are treated with different copper mixed media goodies, but the look for each is totally unique.

The crowns were covered with BoBunny Copper glitter paste.  I added little accents of copper wax paste too, to various spots to tie everything in nicely.

I added Copper Wax Paste on the key and Copper Glitter paste using a stickable stencil over the photos on the right side of the page.

Here is another look at Copper Foil Transfers over the die cuts and the cardstock.

So with this delicious Life in Color collection you can scrap all of your alloccaision photos, and even special occaision like wedding themed pics too!  You don't really need to stick with neutrals for a wedding....

Go for COLORS!

Have some fun making self made METALLIC embellishments of your own. Enjoy the process of making the page that looks like a collage of frames.

Enjoy your BoBunny products in every possible way!

Life in Color and Pentart Metallic Wax Pastes with Shizuka

Hi! BoBunny friends! It's Shizuka here.

Today is  Fine Art Friday. I made a canvas layout using BoBunny beautiful "Life in Color" collection and Pentart metallic wax paste.

First, I pasted pattern paper and buttons on the canvas. And I covered the canvas with gesso for a cool texture. After the layer of gesso dried, I painted BoBunny white crackle paint on a part of  the canvas. After that next layer was dry and ready for more, I used acrylic paint and painted the color-while imagining the stunning blue of the sea.

After the layer of paint dried, I pasted the picture of the great grey whale cut out from the pattern paper on the canvas. I used more Glitter Paste, Pearlescents and Glimmer Spray to add color and decorate.

Pentart Metallic wax Paste can be very cool and it kind of helped me as I designed to kick up the style here. I used it for the first time here on this project this time, and has certainly topped my list of favorites.

I hope you enjoyed my work as much I I like creating this fun piece.  Drop by tomorrow to see what else we have been doing!

Thank you!

Life in Color and Pentart metallic Wax Pastes with Solange

Hello BoBunny fans!!

It's Solange Marques here. Today I'll share with you a new mixed media project using Life in Color collection and Pentart Metallic Wax Pastes!

I've made a canvas for this post.

I've glued "Life in Color Bricks" on the canvas. Then I applied BoBunny white gesso (quite unevenly) on some bricks to get more texture.

After that dried, I applied Pentart Wax Paste on them.  See how it highlights the texture of the dry gesso?

I added fussy cuttings of the elephant and the octopus/

I've applied wax paste on some places of the elephant and the tag, too.

I love to make this canvas! It's so crazy!

For me, the bricks represent real life, the reality and the winged elephant is the dream, the freedom. And everything is possible on the dreams !!

The octopus represents everything that tries to envelop us with its arms and hold us. But we can always chose to between the dreams and the freedom or the arms of reality and commitments. Is it too crazy? I love how it turned out.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Life in Color and Pentart Metallic Wax Paste with Irene

Hello Everyone! It's Irene here and my assignment for today is to create a layout with 3 different looks using BoBunny's Life In Color collection with Pentart Metallic Wax Paste. Here is a collage of my layout in 3 versions.

Life Is A journey Layout by Irene Tan using BoBunny Life In Color Collection

Now, let's take a look at my first layout. It's a clean and simple layout which only involves some cutting and pasting onto the layout. I've cut out several images from the pattern papers and use them to layer on the layout.

Moving on to the second layout. This time, I've raised the difficulty a bit by adding some mixed media techniques on it. I've done some stamping, misting, inking and stenciling on it.

Finally, here is the third layout. This time, I've cut out more intricate images from the pattern papers to add to the layout. I've also added several different elements such as die-cuts and flowers to it. I've cut out some keys and key holes using the Royal dies by BoBunny. The die-cuts and flowers are painted with some Pentart metallic wax paste to create the shiny look on it. To give more dimension to this layout, I've added some brads and BoBunny transparent gel (extra shine!) to some of the embellishments.

Life in Color and Pentart Metallic Wax Pastes with Ginny

Hey BoBunny Peeps! Let me just tell you that I have fallen for the Pentart Metallic Wax Paste.  Not only does it add a gorgeous detail to your creations...but it is also super easy to use. For my project today I'm upcycling a plaster frame stand that I sourced at a local discount store in the markdown section.
Dragonfly Wishes Home Decor Stand By Ginny Nemchak for BoBunny Using Life In Color

Life In Color was the perfect pairing for this frame. It's kinda "arty" so I think the mixed media supplies work so great with it.

This frame has a lovely base with additional raised areas to highlight with the wax. It's also super heavy so there is no concern that it  might tip over.

While I had the wax paste out I added a bit of detail to the BoBunny Blossoms. To round out the arrangement there's a bit of netting and twine bows. Last but not least metal gears in coordinating silver.

I took out the glass part of the frame so I could add the brick background pattern then adhere the following layers with foam spacers.  Bling is always a good for an well placed bit of sparkle. These coordinate really well so the don't contrast with the background.

So many layers!!!! This definitely has a very dimensional look, and the wax paste does the trick in making them stand out nicely.

Here's the process of finishing the frame....

I was able to cover it in with only 1 coat of Pentart Creamy Acrylic Metallic Paint in Graphite. Yay for 1 coat!!!! After allowing to dry I used my finger and a very light touch to add the wax to the raised areas.  Easy Peasy. So much beauty for so little work!!!

Okay that's all for me today. Wishing everyone a happy and productive day with lots of time to be creative.
