Gorgeous Fall Layout with Malin

Hi there!
Today I have a little fall layout to show you. We took down a bird nest in our garden and of course I had to take some pictures of it. It was a really big nest!

We did some trimming on the trees and bushes at the same time and it turned out so nice. But as you can guess the bird nest was a big one to transport away!

Unfortunately, the birds have started to build a new bird nest in front of the yard in another tree LOL We will have to deal with that in springtime!

But here are is the layout I made of it and I hope you like it!

I have been using:
Beautifully brisk collection paper pad
Double dot paper
White gesso
Stained textures stamp #10105762
chocolate jewels #10207764
All caps does #12839017

Other:

Have a nice day!

Christmas Gift Card Holder and Bookmark with Irit

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Irit from Irit Shalom Designs is here today with my second project made with the most adorable and newest Yuletide Carol collection.
This is a totally traditional Christmas collection- colors, designs and sayings .
So I decided to make the totally traditional Christmas Gift card holder/card and to add a lovely interactive bookmark made with the same collection.

As you can see the gift card holder is a standing card and the bookmark is made with the frame and inside moving piece.

I made the front with book shaped dies using different cardstocks and added distressing to the edges as this is a pretty much vintage collection.
The book pages were glued one over another and then embellished with Combo stickers, Layered chipboard, jewels and a couple of BoBunny dies were used to add the interest to this project.

Here you can see all layers of this project when closed:

And this is the " step" that holds this piece standing: made with cardstock, die cuts, stickers and BoBunny die cut sentiment arranged in 5 layers as a " chipboard" piece.

The inside tag is glued on the top and on the bottom , so you can put your cash or your gift card under the tag.

And here is the book mark- the " Joy" part can be used as a separate bookmark too.

 Product list:

Yuletide Carol collection 12'': O Tannenbaum, Presents, Joyous, Carol, Christmas
Yuletide Combo Stickers
Yuletide Layered chipboards
Yuletide Noteworthy die cuts
Christmas card dies
Tick Tock die
To and from dies
Belief dies
Double Dot Red Flourish jewels
Double Dot Emerald jewels
American Crafts Bottle green cardstock
American Crafts Sticky thumb glue runner
American Crafts Sticky thumb 3d foam glue

Thanks for being here with me today!
This was my last Christmas project made with two newest collection and see you soon again!

Marvelous Misc Me Recipe Binder!

Misc Me Recipe Pages featuring Kiss The Cook with Rhonda

BoBunny Misc Me featuring Kiss The Cook and Sugar Glitter Paste designed by Rhonda Van Ginkel

I was so excited to see our newest collection "Kiss The Cook"! In the past I had started a Misc Me cookbook to feature some of my favorite recipes that I make for our family. A few simple rules for my project: 1. It has to have my own handwritten instructions. 2. The recipes are those that I make and like.

As this is a project that will grow, I mixed the types of recipes together for now. Later on, I arranged them in such a way that I can easily move them within the binder. How fantastic is that?

To begin, I documented one of my favorite recipes, Beef Chow Mein, I have used a few of the dies from our 3x4 Lattice Frame as a mat along with Combo Stickers.

My next page is all about my favorite Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe. I wanted a photo of the cookies included with the recipe. I love that you can really take your own direction with Misc Me.

The next page is all about the soup. Living in a cold weather climate, we consume a lot of casseroles, stews and soups. This one is a chowder that I fell in love with. You can see accents of Glitter Paste here with Gold Foil Transfers and Combo Stickers.

Using the Misc Me Recipe Contents sheet, I wrote up the instructions for the Chicken Corn Chowder, in the white space remaining I used some Sugar Glitter Paste with Lots of Love Stickable Stencil and added accents. I also added some on top of the page protector.

Egg-cellent Easter Egg!

Easter Egg by Ulrika Wandler

Hi! Ulrika here for a simple tutorial on how to use the fabulous black crackle paste!

I used a papier maché egg, and I started with priming the egg with the smoothe crackle paste primer. Don't be shy! Let dry until it's not sticky. Then apply the crackle paste, and don't be shy now either!

The BoBunny palette knifes are excellent to use, but mostly on flat surfaces. For this round egg I used a brush and a foam applicator.

Let the black crackle paste dry, and watch it crackle! :-)

I wanted to add something around the egg, and I made a ribbon using the gorgeous Beautiful Dreamer. I also used a few of the new fabulous craft dies and vellum paper to decorate my egg.

So now I have this beautiful special egg to put on my Easter table!

Wall Decor & Card with Believe!

Hi Everyone!

Today I have two little mixed media projects to share with you that uses the new Believe collection and the very cute new Icons Stamps :)

Believe Collection & Icon Stamps Project by Megan Gourlay for BoBunny

My first project to share with you is a wall hanging.

I've taken two elements from the chipboard set and layered these on top of the packaging from the buttons! The packaging from this particular collection already had a mixed media look to it so I simply added to it by splattering white gesso and Mint Glimmer Spray. Using a few of the Icons stamps finished off the background of my project :)

I've created depth by layering chipboard - there's actually six layers to this project!  I've also given the butterflies a little glitz using the Sugar Glitter Paste.

My second project is a birthday card.  This time I dry brushed gesso over the back ground paper and then added glitter paste with the new Flower Power stickable stencil.

The Icon pieces that I used I simply stamped and then die cut, adding chipboard underneath to make them pop.  I've also coloured the present in using pearlescents :)
