Roses are Red, Violets are Blue . . . a Valentine Pop-Up Card featuring Only You with Katherine

Hello, Katherine here, I wanted to share a heart filled version of these Pop-Up box cards. You will love these fantastic cards since they fold flat to post, and then pop up and look beautiful on your shelf.   I used the Only You papers for my valentine/love themed cards.

I started with Wine Vintage Dot as my base, I trimmed it to be 6" by 12", then scored vertically at 2 3/4", 5 1/2" and 8 1/4" and 11" (the one inch section at the end is the flap to seal the box together.  I then twisted the paper round and scored at 2 3/4" all the way along.

I used my Ornate Heart die as a template for the back, and drew around it, then made cuts down on a diagonal for the box to open out.

Inside the box I added some paper strips and used these it with flowers from the noteworthy paper plus another heart die cut.

I also added some jewels to the corners of the paper too and used one of the 3 by 4" journal cards to make the title for the card.

Another pastel version of the card made in a similar way, this time I used lots of punched hearts and then stuck them on acetate so they popped out of the box.  I again used a 3 by 4" card for the sentiment.

Here you can see all the punched hearts lined up together - the acetate works really well as an invisible support.

Hello 2018! Happy New Year Layout featuring On This Day with Marilyn

Hello Everyone!

It's Marilyn here to share a layout that I made with the new On This Day collection! Only a few weeks left until the new year so I chose the January paper to create a layout about it.

My base paper is the Country Blue Double Dot.  I applied textures with the Winter Fun Stickable stencil and White Gesso Primer Paste.

I cut some cards and images from the January paper to create layers on my page. I added some flowers from the Denim Blue Bouquet.

The 3D Powder gives the snow effect so adhered it with the express glue in some areas.

I applied silver glitter paste over the Heart Laser cut chipboard.

I put some blue pearls and added some white paint splatters.

Cards and Stencils and Dies. . . Oh My! with Ginny

Hey There my BoBunny Peeps! I'm sharing some fun cards today that I created with the new Spring Collection - Weekend Adventures and some yummy mixed media supplies.

Mixed Media Card Set By Ginny Nemchak Using BoBunny Weekend Adventures and Pentart

I super love this collection for it's bright cheery colors and whimsical images and patterns.  Both of these cards were created with Weekend Adventures but they look so different.

For this first card I wanted to create the background so I pulled out the stamps and stencils and set to work creating a mixed media style that complimented the charming bear image. I incorporated a doily die to separate the busy patterns then topped off the sentiment  with jewels and a chipboard banner. The balloons have foam spacers to add dimension.

More spacers here to attach the hot air balloons that were part of the Noteworthy set. I've enhanced the images with a variety of colors of Glitter Paste and layered them over a sweet heart die. A few hearts tucked behind and this card is ready to mail to someone special.

Okay that's all for me. Wishing everyone a happy and productive day.

Aryia's Garden and Liquid Metal from Pentart with Shizuka

Hello BoBunny friends! It's me Shizuka here.
Today I would like to share the Misc Me! pages I made with beautiful BoBunny Aryia's Garden collection and Pentart Liquid Metal Products.

Here is the first page.

I used the pictures of my children when we went for a walk with my friends in a rose park. The atmosphere of a beautiful park and this paper collection were perfect. I cut out on of my favorite patterns to fit inside the page pocket to use.

Pictures of big pockets are overlaid with patterns cut out from foil vellum paper and decorated with clear stickers , Double Dot Jewels and Chipboard. I like the feeling the sheer vellum paper and clear sticker very much

Things I pulled out with Heart's Craft Die are also very cute and a real favorite.  I combined layered chip board and  Noteworthy in this pocket.

I used the heart die cut from the craft die I used on the left page in this pocket instead of the stencil. Creative and crafty!

After decorating each pocket, I apply a glitter paste randomly to each picture and paper and give a sense of unity by lightly coloring.

Here is the next page.

Here as well, after decorating pockets, it is lightly colored with glitter paste. In addition, I use Stickable Stencils and Gesso to add textures to photos and pattern papers to make the whole page unified.

It is the left page.

Pearlescents are given to the die of the frame that matches the picture.

It is the right page.

I applied  Pentart Liquid Metal to the same frame die used on the left page and made it an accent. This liquid metal will be finished like a real metal if it is painted solidly, but this time I spread it quite thinly to fade and finish it in a shabby look.  Loving the way it turned out

I hope you found some fun ideas and inspiration with this today.

Thank you!!

Shizuka

This is the first step, a clean and simple layout:

Then I added some stamping, some Glimmer Spray and a couple of embellishments.

A Summertime Treat!

Hello BoBunny Fans! I have a Summertime Treat for you today....

It's Denise here today to offer you some Beach Therapy and holding out a pineapple for you to enjoy!!

Party Decor by Denise van Deventer using the BoBunny Beach Therapy Collection and the Summertime Stickable Stencil

In a scrappy magazine, a while back, I got a lovely scoreboard with all sorts of templates for various projects and one of these, was a cute milk carton. These are so great for little giveaways and little Thank You parcels.

I used the gorgeous, new Summertime stickable stencil and some inks to decorate these little milk cartons. I so love stickable stencils and they are definitely my "go to" stencils as they are so user friendly and make for easy, fuss free stenciling.

I also created a pineapple, which I initially thought wouldn't take me long, but did take a little bit of time but was worth the effort. It makes for a great, summertime table centre piece.

I took a pineapple template from the internet and then printed it, quite a few times on patterned paper and cardstock and then fussy cut these images, folded them in half and started sticking these halves together, which eventually made this 3D project.  It's very similar to those fold-up Christmas decor that one folds open and then can fold away again.

To add another little fun element, I twirled some patterned papers and then stuck them to the straws.

There are actually so many things that one can do and would not have to cost you an arm and a leg to add some pretty details and a little summertime fun.

Thanks so much for stopping by the BoBunny blog today!

Hope to see you back soon!

Denise x
