Hi Bo Bunny fans today I am here to share with you a layout using some of Bo Bunny's mixed media products, also this month we teamed up with Imagine Crafts and I was sent some fun goodies to play with.

I started by giving my background paper a thin coat of gesso, just enough to tone it down but not cover the beautiful pattern on the paper. I then applied a some Crackle Paste Primer roughly in the areas I wanted to put the White Crackle Paste. I applied my White Crackle Paste through a stencil, and you can see how the shapes crackle where they go over the Primer.

I cut some clouds from vellum with the dies from the Fly Away set, after I had positioned them I used some Silver Foil Transfers to add a little detail. They really do shine!

For my page I used the Beautiful Dreamer Collection, some papers I tore and others have straight cut edges, I like the look of this mix. I was sent some Memento markers from Imagine Crafts, these are dual tip markers with a brush one end and a fine tip on the other end. I used my Scribble technique and Tuxedo Black to create my "Selfie" title. I also used the same Tuxedo Black pen to outline the edges of my papers.

When I came to construct my layout I found I had run out of foam dots, I took some corrugated card and added tear tape. I then adhered this to the back of my paper cluster and voila. The tear tape is so simple to use and really does have a very strong grip.

Transparent Gel On A Fun & Lovely Layout!

Good Morning! How is everyone's day going? Today I'm going to share a little tutorial using the new BoBunny Transparent Gel. What an amazing product! So I will chat as I go.. Are you ready?

Best Friends Layout by Lynn Shokoples

I chose the Beautiful Dreamer Collection to work with on this layout. Since I laid eyes on the 12x12 Bicycle Patterned Paper I knew I just had to do a layout with it. The collection also has decoupage paper, so I had an idea I wanted to try. It was my first time working with the Transparent Gel, and let me tell you... I think it's the best adhesive I have ever used! And.. it's just not for gluing as you will see later in the tutorial.

Decoupage Paper, Buttons,Transparent Gel and the 6x6 paper pad were the first supplies I grabbed!

I cut strips from the Decoupage Paper and just rolled them into a ball with my fingers. Next I cut a circle with my punch from one of the sheets from the 6x6 paper pad. I covered the circle with the Transparent Gel and then just laid the Decoupage Paper over it in a circle, going round and round adding little bits of the gel.

When I was done I used the Transparent Gel to glue down the buttons on the shabby flowers I had made. Once they were dried, which didn't take long at all.. those buttons were not coming off!! I just had to give them a good tug to test my theory!

Making the shabby flowers were fun, but what else could I do? I cut another strip from the Decoupage Paper, scrunched it again and used it as a border behind the Journal Contents Cards I had chosen to use. You need such a small amount of the gel, a little goes a long way.

It gave a nice ruffled effect that was just peeking out as an added layer... and OH.. it coordinated with the shabby flower too.

Just another peek at the flower and the ruffle.

The two extra flowers I made I used on the bicycle wheels as a little extra something. It gave the bottom of the layout added dimension.

Now everything is adhered to the layout! Wait... there is something else you can do with the Transparent Gel... if you paint it on top of something, it gives added dimension and a bit of shine!! The basket of flowers on the bicycle was the perfect element to try it on.

See the shine?? It's such a pretty look! You can use it to accent your patterned paper, die cuts, embellishments.. the possibilities are endless! I can't wait for my next project to see what else I can do with it.

Memories Forever by Irene Tan

Here are some close-ups on the mixed media techniques used.

For the background of this layout, first I used the Whimsy stickable stencil with some white gesso. Then, I've sprayed it with Bronze, Tutu and Mint glimmer spray. When it's all dried, I used teh Part Time stickable stencil with Tutu and Rose Gold glitter paste. Do you know that you can create tones or shadings with glitter paste. To do that, apply your glitter paste with palette knife. I used BoBunny flexible paint palette knife. First apply the lighter tone glitter paste and later lightly apply another layer of darker tone glitter paste on areas you want to shade.

Beautiful Dreamer Cards!

Beautiful Dreamer cards by Keri Babbitt

This card trio uses the soft, nostalgic colors of the Beautiful Dreamer collection, with a big, bold pop of Black Gesso.
For the first card, I layered a silver glitter paste circle underneath the black gesso image.  This is a quick and easy way to add a special handmade touch to a simple card.

For the second card, I dry-brushed the gesso over the background stencil, and then layered pearlescents and glitter paste on top to soften it up and give the card a shimmery sheen.

For the third card, I made feather accents with gesso, pearlescents, and vellum.  The gesso naturally curls the vellum slightly, which is perfect for these delicate feathers.

BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Beautiful Dreamer/Life Life, Reverie
Double Dot: Dusty Rose, Whisper
Noteworthy: Beautiful Dreamer
Buttons: Beautiful Dreamer
Brads: Beautiful Dreamer
Pearlescents: Butterscotch, Graphite, Tutu

Glitter Paste: Silver
Gesso: Black
Stencils: Kaleidoscope, Whimsy

Egg-cellent Easter Egg!

Easter Egg by Ulrika Wandler

Hi! Ulrika here for a simple tutorial on how to use the fabulous black crackle paste!

I used a papier maché egg, and I started with priming the egg with the smoothe crackle paste primer. Don't be shy! Let dry until it's not sticky. Then apply the crackle paste, and don't be shy now either!

The BoBunny palette knifes are excellent to use, but mostly on flat surfaces. For this round egg I used a brush and a foam applicator.

Let the black crackle paste dry, and watch it crackle! :-)

I wanted to add something around the egg, and I made a ribbon using the gorgeous Beautiful Dreamer. I also used a few of the new fabulous craft dies and vellum paper to decorate my egg.

So now I have this beautiful special egg to put on my Easter table!

Dreamy Misc Me!

Dream - Misc Me by Tracee Provis

Today I will be sharing with you some Misc Me pages that I created for my Granddaughter's album. I always let her fill her own journaling in as it makes it much more personal for her. I used the Beautiful Dreamer Collection, which certainly lives up to it's name....it's gorgeous!

This collection doesn't cry out beach theme but it's easily adapted for any occasion you want. I fussy cut a little bird from one of the papers and placed him on top of the plastic pocket for a 3D look without adding too much dimension.

I used one of the large pieces from the Journal Contents Pack, and created a mini scrapbook page. I added a little torn Gold Foil Washi Tape and a coordinating sticker from the new Clear Sticker range.
I left a space for Star to write her journaling in, along with her 6 reasons why she loves the beach.

I adore the birds that are printed throughout this collection and I couldn't resist adding them to both of my pages. The tiny one on the left is another Clear Sticker from the pack along with the letters that spell out strawberry picking. I added some die cut viewfinders that I cut from the 6 x 6 Beautiful Dreamer paper pad.

As I said I do like to add some of my elements to the top of the plastic pocket. Here I fussy cut the gold frame and adhered it on top, underneath on the polka dot card is a secret message (you could also add another photo here if you wished). I am loving the way this album is turning out and I'm sure I will be back to share some more pages in the future.
