Our Favorite Memory Layout with Count the Ways

Hello BoBunny fans!

Emmy here today sharing my first project for February. Since it is the week of St Valentine, I thought I would use the amazing Count the Ways collection from BoBunny and a picture I really like of me and my two kids.

For my background I used two different pattern papers. I cut off 1 cm from each side of the lighter paper, inked its edges with brown ink and adhered it on top of the darker pattern paper.

To soften the colors of the paper design, I used white gesso on a large area in the middle of it. Once the gesso has dried, I added extra pattern using clear stamps and brown ink pad. As a final touch I sprinkled glimmer mist on top.

I layered my picture on a slightly larger panel of pinkish pattern paper and used different fussy cut images to create the layers under it.

I fussy cut a lot of cute images to decorate my page further. The banner under my picture I created from snippets from different pattern papers.

As a final touch I added rhinestones and chipboard stickers from the sticker sheet matching the paper line.

I hope I managed to inspire you today!

Come back soon for more inspirational projects from our design team!

Christmas Carousel-An Altered Holiday Layout - with Marilyn

Hello everyone! It's Marilyn here to share a layout that I made using the beautiful Carousel Christmas collection.

I worked with both sides of the "Wishes" paper in this page.  I applied gesso to the paper then I applied textures with the Backsplash stencil and Primer Paste. After dry, I made white paint splatters over all the textures, to give it more depth and dimension.

Then, I matted the the sweet photo with doilies that I made using the Darling Doily Die.

I made two openings to the papers and tear the edges, then I adhered a piece of the same paper Wishes but I used the back side.

I made white leaves from the Lovely Leaf Dies and a white cardstock and did little fussy cutting of  the  lovely images from the Wonder paper. I added some snowflakes laser chipboards that I sponged a bit with gesso to make them stand out.

I gave more textures with 3D powder and express glue then I added some pearls.

Christmas CRAFTINESS! Reindeer Treats featuring FaLaLa with Rhonda

Reindeer Treats Shaker with Rhonda

Greetings and welcome to the blog today!  It's Rhonda here to share a holiday crafting project with you that is perfect when involving the kids. I've been wanting to switch things up a bit this year and give them a glimpse of holiday magic with some "reindeer food" for them to sprinkle out on the front lawn.  Usually we leave carrots but it's fun to switch things around right?

The idea came about because I had an empty shaker container and I put it aside to use for this special project!  The FaLaLa collection was perfect as the theme is fun and whimsical.

First, I covered the decorated portion of the shaker with the back side of the Noteworthy paper. Then I cut the tag, deer and die cuts. I covered the snowflake with white gesso and set aside to dry, but sprinkled just a bit of fine glitter on top so it would adhere.

Isn't this cute?  I'm so glad that I have this done now so later it's all ready to go on Christmas Eve!  I just put some oatmeal inside and sprinkled a bit more glitter to mix it up and give a bit of holiday glitz.

I hope you've enjoyed my project today.

Holiday Mixed Media Techniques featuring Carousel Christmas with Marilyn

Hello everyone! It's Marilyn here with a mixed media layout with the gorgeous Carousel Christmas collection and products by BoBunny and Pentart.

I started giving textures to my base paper (Joy) with the Winter Fun Stickable Stencil and the Sugar Glitter Paste. It created bright snowflakes on the background, then I added white paint splatters. The Joy paper has a few spots of yellow paint, so I created more yellow spots on the background with a mix of Pentart Acrylic Gold paint and Gesso Primer Paste.

I cut out different images from the Wonder paper that I gave distress ink and added 3D foam tape to create dimension with them.  I placed the photo and then I added the different images to create the design on my layout.

I used the Happy Holidays as my title and to enhance it,  I cut the pink banner from the Floral paper and adhered it behind the quote with foam tape. I draped the Joy paper and place under the believe paper.

To make the project more interesting I tied a white cord to the jingle bells. I made some dots with the Pearlecents to create more textures on the background.

I applied with a paintbrush the Gold Confetti Paste on the background and added pieces of cheesecloth between the embellishments.

Finally I added some buttons from the Ephemera package and some pearls.

I hope you find some inspiration,  Thanks for stopping by...until next time!!

Marilyn

Serendipity with Pentart Mixed Media with Rhonda

Greetings!

BoBunny Serendipity Mixed Media Scrapbook Page featuring Pentart Stencil Paste designed by Rhonda Van Ginkel

Hi there, it's Rhonda here today to share with you my project featuring the gorgeous Serendipity collection along with a few of the new Pentart products. I've got a couple of techniques that I will highlight in a short video as well.

BoBunny Serendipity Mixed Media Scrapbook Page featuring Pentart Stencil Paste designed by Rhonda Van Ginkel

This woodgrain paper called "Flight" was so soft I wanted to use it as my focus. I used some Pentart Primer Paste Gesso in white to lay down a whitewash effect and also to prepare the paper for additional mixed media pigments.

Once the background is prepared, I used the frame from the new "Congratulations Card Dies" set, but slipped it over my matted photo to showcase the photo in a soft but dramatic way.

Square foam dimensional adhesive is used to elevate the photo and under the butterflies. Double Dot Jewels are added to accent the Noteworthy butterflies.

One of my favorite assembly methods is collage, I take bits and pieces from Noteworthy, or die cut some elements, cut them apart and layer them into the page. As you can see peeking out from behind the bird, there is a bit of grass layered in.

Faith and Pentart Indoor/Outdoor Lasur with Ayumi

Hello Bo Bunny Friends,
Today I will introduce a Mixed Media frame using the Faith collection from Bo Bunny with Pentart Lasur Gel.

Clip frame calendar by Ayumi Iwashita

The clip part's calendar can be removed.

Let me tell you how to color the frame.
At first, I paint Lasur Gel (Blue, yellow) with a sponge.

I painted the blue as a whole, painted yellow from the top.

Next, draw a Creamy Acrylic (Gold, Eggplant, Sour Cherry Red) with a stencil using a sponge.

Mixing three colors in some places makes it a fantastic finish.

And finally it is the finishing.
Normally it is used for the first time, but in order to make a more fantastic work this time, lastly acrylic primer white was partially painted.

Once the coloring of the frame is completed, it is completed by decorating with paper etc.

Thanks for joining me today.
 Have a fabulous day!
